What turbo is it? Assuming it is something properly sized (gt35r or larger):

501whp and 403ft/tq

Interesting placement I must say. There must be a lot more room on the HR on that side than on the DE's. I was looking at a top mount twin turbo kit, and there is just no room do to the harness and coolant lines. Just too much hassle to move things around....but it is possible to do.

Damn good guess but it's higher than that. =) Yes. it is a 35R right now.

Turbo placement really worked out well with the over all lay out. I'll be posting up some pics of the whole engine bay, shortly. =)

HR SINGLE !!!! must be one hell of a piping mayhem. Thing is a total madness cuz based what I have learn, the restrictive piping/flow will destroy most of the power gains. this is not the only thing cuz managing to match the flow for each MAF is almost impossible, which means that the ECU will go nuts because of this.

sub'd
just curious to know how the f*** did you mange all of this. I know they did a ST custom on a vq37vhr/370z. met a lot of issues.

good luck,

Didn't a guy do a custom piping on te 370z and made good numbers off a single turbo?

This should be great!

Then there is the price range?

Default Pics of the HR Kit - First Draft

So here are the pics of our HR Single Turbo Build.

Few Quick Notes:
- Both MAFS were within .5% of each other through out the pulls on the logs.
- Both O2 Sensors with within -/+5% of each other.
- Driveability is AMAZING
- Nothing Rubs
- Piping is less than a typical TT Kit

Now on to the show....

THE NUMBER - 9.5PSI / PUMP GAS / VERY SAFE TUNING

THE MONEY SHOT!

nice fab work. looks like thats the biggest turbine housing you can use.

Did you guys make jigs or is this a 1 off project. ball park price range?

ya dont see any reason why the maf's would read any different since the IC piping is probably about the same length. But since you mentioned MAFs, I guess this is UPrev tuned?

This configuration allows for a lot of turbo options so we can meet just about any power demand.

In regards to the maf, we made sure to do the piping this way with this style intercooler so that there would be equal flow. Mission accomplished.

Yes, we used UpRev, it's working out awesome, even with stock MAF's.

from this pic, it just looks like you dont have alot of room for a bigger turbine housings, although i bet this built around a T3 flange, so not many bigger options anyhow. Any plans to blanket that housing or heat shield the intake pipe?

i guess no boost controller that why it took to >5000 rpms to make full boost? Almost looks like a vortech boost curve, but just on springs that would be total understandable.

Fuggin sweet to see more placement options! Thanks!

Sweet setup, makes me wanna reconsider going TT now. Will this clear the strut bar and front core support bar the nismos have?

There is a turbine blanket on it. These are just in progress pics. There is a lot more space between the turbine and the pipe than appears in the pic.

With this setup we can work lots of other options with various compressor configurations and we can work tons of options from Precision. We already have someone lines up that wants to try and maximize this setup so we'll know soon enough what the limits of our design are.
