Well I called them, received a case # and proceed to message them on FB. They're looking into it at the moment. It looks like Nissan forgot about the authenticity plate replacement program or it defunct when they move the NISMO office to Japan.
Had I known that this would have been an issue. I would've kept the scratched plate...

Nissan has a open case on a replacement plate. Currently their 'original' supplier who produce the NISMO plates (Z33 and Z34) filed bankruptcy. Yep they also supply the Z34 NISMO plates too. Until they find a new supplier, current NISMO owners who want replacement plates are SOL.
I also filed a BBB claim on them prior to them contacting me about the bankruptcy.
For now, there's a open case number and a direct contact to the person working this.

Damn, that's all bad news. So there's a possibility that the NISMO plate will not even look exactly the same as original since a new supplier (if they ever even find one) is going make it. There's a couple of scratches on my NISMO's plate so I would like to get a new replacement but I sure as hell don't want to go through what you're going through... Keep us updated, good luck.
Thank you for allowing Nissan North America another opportunity to review Mr. ***'s concern regarding his 2007 Nissan 350Z NISMO.
Nissan North America is unable to fulfill Mr. ***'s request to manufacture a duplicate authenticity plate to replace his original authenticity plate at this time. Nissan North America has created a case file to document Mr. ***'s request, and this case will remain in our system as we continue to work towards a resolution in the future.
Mr. *** is welcome to contact Nissan Consumer Affairs at 1-800-647-7261 with any further questions related to this concern.
I'm contacting them after graduation and follow-up on my case. I still have the direct number to the manager I was working with. With the Z34 NISMO still in production, Nissan HQ should have found a new supplier unless they have enough for the end of the model generation.

I recieved a phone call today from Nissan. They told me that i will recieve a new plaque for my car... however it wont be a plaque with "my" number.
It is a number that has never been issued to any other car. When and if Nissan is able to secure a new vendor to produce the replacement plaques then i will be able to order the new one with "my" number!!! Down side..... 4-6 weeks out.... Oh well... I've been waiting over a year already so whats another 6 wks?!? Have a renewed faith in Nissans customer service dept....
The rep i talked to is also going to try and get me my certificate of authenticity!!! Eeeehaaaa!!!!!
