Well let me know if I can help, I'll do what I can for you. I have experience setting up a video system as you know.. I found one at Sams for $588 with 4 color cameras and a 4 way monitor last year.

I use a GV600 PC based DVR. The Geovision card is the main component in $2000+ systems. The (lower end) cards that I use are only $300ish, but you pay alot for integration and support. However, on a headless windows 2000 or xp install, it will run for months without any intervention. So, no support is ever really needed. If anything, having IR cameras overheat or camera power supplies burn out is about the only issues you'll have, and thats all camera systems.

the software for a GV600 is the same as a super high Frames per second GV1000 (seriously expensive). The software you get for a $300 card is really where the value comes from . It has some incredible options. You can have object/face recognition, then follow that object within a certain range. Crazy. I dont do any of that, just basic a basic area covered, with an area (the road) excluded.

Funny thing about the camera system... I *really* needed it over there on Evergreen. We had more problems than I would have expected. At our new house, it has been great on busting out contractors who said they showed up when they didnt.. and in one case, a contractor was going to use rotted wood as shims. I saw it on the camera. I was in disbelief.. I hurried home and told him to pack up his ****.

i know you do.. i have to shift around 2 PCs to get one free. Just coincidence that I have a PC waiting on parts, and will have a board suitable for this on Monday. Trying to find a decent hard drive, I have a spare but it whines.

I drove around, not many nice IR cameras in retail. I need a couple extra too, so maybe a 4 pack would save us both some money. Looking into it. I had a stressful day and calling All Secure slipped my mind again, sorry.. but I have a reminder set tomorrow.

no worries, pretty sure I have everything.. I planned on going really slow with the swap. Debby can help me with the motive and/or pumping the brakes. I have mixed feeling about the motive. Although, at the very least, I can put a few psi on it just so I have a huge amount of fluid with no worries of running out. Rather than using it at 10psi and risk it spooging my whole front cap.

yeah, we can do that. I need to see if that guy will let me borrow the extra controllers. 4 will just be bad ***. Although, I've found all the games are less fun in single player, but SO much easier to control. Mario cart is enjoyable when you have the whole screen, but who wants to play with themselves? errr, I mean by themselves. I plan on taking that game back tomorrow night btw. The address to the place is on the cover, so I feel stupid for asking directions like 3 times.

I contacted

http://www.kartways.com/

They are in Warren, AR... It's actually quite equal in distance for central AR, Northern MS and much of LA. They hosted BMW of North America corporate, so they should be able to accommodate a meet for us. And of course, they do the SCCA events as well.

from the air..
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=e...09398&t=h&z=17

Tim, Thanks for the mail. Our prices are different for different karts, our honda which run about 40mph are 10 bucks for 10 minutes and you can run these as long as you like. The world formulas are 10 bucks for 5 minutes and run about 60mph. The shifters are the same price and run about 80mph. I would need some dates that would work for you so as to see if we already have something booked. We have had the SCCA down and they used our karts for a timed event instead of their cars. Let me know what you would like to do.
Thanks
Gary
that could get pricey tho I'd want the shifters

awesome, man ive driven all of them, 40mph is hauling in a kart. the others will totally wear your *** out, it's almost to much work to be fun! i would def like to go hit the 40mph though, its about the same price as i paid in germany it was 60 bucks for 1/2 hour i think for the shifters. 80+ but after 10 mins your forearms are so swollen and burning your ready to quit.
