Didn't see a thread for G's and Z's in the Panhandle area... If ya'll are out there, check in. We should try to get a meet up in this area... I know there's plenty of Z's/G's west of Tallahasee and east of Mobile...
What's up fellas (and ladies)? I've been on the site for a couple of months, but never post much. I moved down to the Panhandle from Boston a few months ago. I live in Navarre, but I'm always in Ft. Walton, Destin, and Pcola. I got an '05 Silverstone. I haven't been able to meet many people in my demographic (mid 20's to early 30s-I'm working all the time and not much of a clubber). If there's gonna be a meet, I'm down!
yea doesnt seem like theres many down here. i've been trying to get a meet together. so let me know if anything happens. i drive a 07 black Z with MD tags and live in shalimar/fwb.

I know a few members here in the Panhandle area, Tom's Z being one of them. Myself and Tom have talked about setting up a Z get together here in the Panhandle. I have contacted a few places trying to get some group rates.
I am not sure how many people would be interested.
still no date for the Z/G meet.....i guess no one really wants to organize it. Where does everyone want to meet? Destin/Pensacola? Don't know the pcola area well so someone else will have to pick the place

Plans:
Saturday Part I an Saturday evening Part II meet. I will look into rooms in Destin for anyone who wants to attend the Saturday evening Part II.
Saturday Part I:
A Saturday meet at 10am Destin Commons. There we can have a little meet and greet.
From there we will travel down 98 to Pensacola Beach for lunch and more meet and greet. I have few places in mind for the lunch at Pensacola Beach. I want to keep it a inexpensive for lunch.
I was thinking say at Pensacola Beach till about 4 pm.
Now we leave Pensacola Beach and will be heading back to Destin Commons. For Part II.
Saturday evening Part II:
For anyone attended Part II. We will be meeting back at the Destin Commons at about 5:30 pm. We will then again have a 30 Min meet and greet for those new comers.
At around 6 pm those that attended Part I and are staying for Part II can get cleaned up.
We can then meet back up at the Destin Commons around 8 pm for dinner. I have two places in mind
1. Bluepoint
2. Hardrock
I will reserve us tables at where ever I get the best deal. I am thinking Bluepoint since I know people there.
I will also try to reserve us upfront parking. I will see what happens when I ask that question.
After dinner we can hang there for drinks and little night out on the town.
I have not picked a date yet, but I am thinking March 1st 2008. This gives me time to set things up.
I will create a sign up list on my Personal web page with all the information as well as a posting here on My350z.
I would also like to invite those from myG35/37 as well as any other Z & G fans.

Good deal. I am working on the site now. Kind of have it in a beta stage. I am going to be out of town till the 29th. As luck would have it my Laptop keyboard is flaking out. So it's making it hard to working on the website. I will do my best to get it up this week for folks to sign up that plan to attend.
Z owner here checking in from Panama City. Would like to meet some of you guys, but would prefer to spend more time driving rather than standing around some parking lot. Maybe we could arrange a big loop through North Florida with a multicity drive through, allowing some time to stretch the Z/G legs out on the more desolate roads. People could meet up with the group at various times along a predetermined route while the group came through or near their locations, or they could opt to take the full route with the group. Just a thought???
sooo I'm thinking we make a "Panhandle Run" type get-together... maybe something like everyone meeting up in their respective cities and as we pass by your city, you tag along with us until we stop at our meeting place... or maybe that's too much work..
maybe just finding a central meeting place like DESTIN!! then going for a small drive down US98 for a couple of miles and coming back to Destin and breaking out from there for dinner at Blue Point.. something along the lines of what Chad was saying on his 2nd post...
