It's the first time I have towed it to Willow Springs. Usually I drive it there. My co-worker owns the trailer and told me I could take it whenever. It makes the drive there and back a lot more comfortable (I brought my girlfriend with me) It also gives me peace of mind to push the car harder since if it breaks it wont matter since I'm towing it home. Its about a 3.5 hour drive from my house to Willow Springs. Not to mention the extra space to bring things like chairs, tools, cooler, EZ-Up, ECT...

True. I've always wanted to tow my car to the track just incase there's a failure you load it up and go home. Oh and carrying everything in a Z sucks

Hopefully I will start towing soon. These long drives in my car really suck. Then of course I push the car pretty dam hard, just a matter of time before I have a major problem.

Looking good! Is there a noticeable difference in the front with that V2 bumper + canards compared to the OEM bumper? I have one sitting in my garage and not sure if I should put it on for events.

Little bit, not enough, needs more up front still.

Anyone planning on going to the Speedventures 11.18.12 event at Auto Club Speedway Roval? I will be there, and it would be good to run with some other Z's.

All great tires, but...... RS3 is IMO the best of the bunch. Track records have also proven that. Also the wear great, i don't know how the others do on wear.

It looks like you have dedicated track wheels, so you could also go with Nitto NT01s.

I'm on my first set of Hankook R-S3's and they are awesome. I could not believe how much it changed the cars handling. I was kicking my self in the butt for wasting my time with the Hankook V12's I had on the car previously.

I was thinking about it but I'm not sure yet. There is a Time Attack event going on at Buttonwillow on the 18th also.
