Hey guys this is my 1st year playing fantasy basketball and I have made it to the finals and I'm encountering a big problem that I need help with. To all the guru's who have played fantasy basketball in years past I was wondering if the teams that clinched the playoffs already, do they BENCH their starters for the final 2 games of the season to rest them for the playoffs??? I have players like antawn jamison, carlos boozer, and josh smith and I need to know if they will be playing the remainder of the regular season. In my league its a tight race to the finish and I don't want to lose because half of my star players ended up not playing.
YES, they will play the stars VERY few minutes to rest them. I suggest you study which teams have nothing to play for (already set in their playoff position) and either pick up the starter's direct replacement on that team or look elsewhere. The starter's will start (or may not even start), but they will have their minutes cut down by a bunch.
Also, don't think that just picking up a player from a team that is on the outside looking in would be the best move either. A lot of times those starter's don't get their normal minutes either because the coaches want to give the bench extra playuing time foir the last game or two.
Look for the team outside of the playoffs that might be playing a team still trying to get playoff positioning. Both sides will play their hardest.

thanks thanh. im up 6 steals and 8 blocks with a final day left but anything can happen my other 3 categories r pretty much locked so im hoping for the best.
