Yup Their too hungry imo, Kobe has 3 already he won't fight as hard as he can.
So its a under motivated Kobe with a soft european vs 3 Super motivated All stars plus 1 MVP KG, all motivated by the fact that they have no rings and they see the importance of the celtics history.. plus In the finals vs LA, celtics are like 14-2

Wait a second, If you know anything about kobe, you would know he wants this championship more than anything becuase if he doesnt get one before he retires without shaq, he will be remebered as that player who couldnt win **** without shaq. And if you honestly think the lakers are going to get swept, you obviously dont keep up with basketball. Celtics had home court advantage and still had 2 game sevens. Against the hawks and cavs. The celtics have a searious problem with winning on the road (yes they just did it twice with the pistons but the pistons are to unpredictable, no consistency in play), Lakers on the other hand have been solid throughout the playoffs. There is no doubt the celtics are talented and they will get their ring eventually, but you would be a dumbass to believe that the lakers will roll over and die. Forget the history of the teams, these are two totally different lakers and celtics from the predicessors. If you cant bring up facts instead of what you percieve to be an undermotivated lakers team, then keep your mouth shut and watch the lakers discombobulate the team with the best record in the league!!!

Kobe, NOT hungry? What playoff series did you watch? He imposed his will on the spurs, when he was needed. Especially game 5...he went out there as if he was possessed. I'm sorry, I'm a skeptic, but i don't see the celtics winning the Finals. With their "Big 3", they should be running rampant over anyone in their way...but they're not doing that. Game 7 against the Hawks??? I can understand the Cavs are a bit more of a challenge, but they don't have the depth, or consistency to hang with the Celtics...Celts should have taken that series in 5, or 6.
LA ran rampant over Denver (big freakin deal...they're a bunch of pu$$ies), closed out the Jazz at home, and then imposed their will on the Spurs.
I'm going Lakers in 6

this isnt the 80's u tard, that record means nothing in this series. This statement makes me believe my left nut knows more than you about playoff ball and the leauge in general... Im going to wait for a logical response to this before I go off on you because I take your sweep projection as a complete joke.

agreed.
Not the same team. Not the same coach and some parts of management are completely different. Not to mention the style of play has again, completely changed.

8-2, actually. And before there are any more statistical misquotes:
Total # of Championships: Celtics: 16 Lakers: 14
Total # of trips to the Finals: Celtics: 20 Lakers: 29
Flaws in your argument: Kobe couldn't have made it to the Finals if he wasn't "hungry". He would have given up long ago. He's "hungrier" than everyone else because Shaq had already proven that he could win a ring without Kobe. The onus is on Kobe now to prove he can do the same.
The 3 "super motivated all stars" that Boston has? Well, Ray Allen hasn't been shooting well (which is actually a surprise, since he's usually so clutch). He's fixed it somewhat lately, but we'll see how he does this deep into the competition when the pressure's really on.
Many comentators have been wondering why "MVP" Garnett has been passing up open shots: nerves? uncertainty? Pierce has been the only solid pillar.
As a team, the Celtics are "emotionally drained". They said as much at the post-game conference. Luckily for them, they'll have enough time to recover, but they just went through 3 gruelling series against the Pistons, Cavs, and Hawks.
And the Lakers haven't lost at home since March.
So this begs the question: are you simply a Boston transplant in San Diego, or are you old enough to miss the Clippers?
Addendum: I'm not sure who'll win the series, by the way.
I have to say, I like the Lakers' chances, but the Celtics got one helluva game. So I'm with longbowe: whoever wins, it will NOT be a sweep. Sweep-talk is for nut-huggers or haters on either side of the fence.
