Fresno State wins college world series 2008

Being from Fresno you guys have no idea how big this is for our little city. Definitely a true cinderella story. Nice to see the Central Valley get some recognition for our collegiate sports program or lack there of.

Hopefully our football team can somewhat accomplish something similar.

I remeber how big of a deal it was when David Carr was picked #1, but we all know how that story ended up.

I think that the football team has a chance of ending up the season in the top 25

Typically I'm not a baseball fan, but I can sit down and watch any collegiate sport. I was really impressed by the Detweiler kid, he tore it up. It's a big accomplishment for Fresno especially since they were a HUGE underdog.
