Official College Football 2008
Bored at work today, and espn.com, si.com as well as magazine previews are available, so thought I would offer some thoughts on the upcoming season.
My personal top ten 1. OU 2. USC 3. Georgia 4. OSU 5. Clemson 6. UF 7. Texas Tech 8. WVU 9. Mizzou 10.Auburn BCS title game-OU over USC (The top 4 are all interchangable talent wise, just that Georgia's schedule is very hard and I believe USC will prevail over OSU on Sept. 13) Darkhorse Title Team-USF Heisman Trophy-Pat White I hope my predictions are more accurate than last year (I picked Miiiichigan to win it all )Also hoping to see improvement from the U, 2009 should be the year Miami contends for an ACC title and BCS game again. Would be great to hear fellow fan thoughts! |

Have you no Badger pride? They will be in the top ten come the seasons end.

I admit, I overlooked Wisconsin, if they get past OSU at home then watch out!!
I believe they have been one of the most consistent 10 win programs over the past 4 years, just do not get much media attention. |

The Badgers do get overlooked a lot. I knew nothing about the school until my brother started going there. They seem like the forgotten team of the Big Ten. He has gone to every game the past three years. I went to the U of M game last year and Camp Randall is a great place to catch a game. Academically it is top notch as well. Not only are they good in football but every other key sport they are top ten as well.
Good list though, I could see Missouri and Clemson being top 25 teams between 12-20, not in my top ten. They are no longer flying under the radar so they are going to be the big game of the year for some of the average schools on their schedule. |
