+1000 on that. He sure as hell can drive, but he also has top of the line equipment with Gibbs. Not sure how his own team would do with him and (rumor has it), Ryan Newman driving.

He may very well be into the owner stage at this point. He has 30+ wins, multiple championships. He is damn successful in NASCAR as a driver, no one can argue that.

Looks like he'll be in the number 14 - Sponsor, Old Spice, Office Depot or a combination of both. With the Hendrick help and Smoke's talent it will be interesting to see how he does. He's a good guy though and in IMO is great for the sport.
