Thumbs down The "OFFICIAL" Brett Favre Needs To Shut The * Up Thread!

You know this guy has officially made me forget all the great isht he has accomplished with all his damn whining and just retiring on a high note (albeit he lost in the NFC Playoffs, he took his team deeper than I and most thought he would in 08).
I mean WTF? Have some dignity and respect for not only the fans of GB but the staff, players, owners and new QB.

And to even breath or hint of a "forced retirement".........

I agree, he keeps the whole team on a edge during the offseason then a couple weeks before training camp... COMEBACK! He's a great player, one of the best I think. But I can see why Rogers is pissed. He thinks his time has come every year then just gets dropped cuz Brett comes back.

Finally I can agree with TX!

Most athletes don't know when to quit. They want to bask in the spotlight forever.

He needs to shut up and enjoy time with his family.

farve is still a better qb than rogers so if he wants to comeback gb should welcome him with open arms...instead of jacking him around...either sign him or release him.

Put yourself in the General Manager's shoes. You take him back as the starter and you can forget about roggers staying with the team next year. You take him back and put him on the bench; Yeah right...Greenbay fans will run you out of town. You can't possibly trade him to Minnesota or Chicago. If you release him, there is a good chance he'll end up on the exact teams you don't want him going to. I don't envy Greenbay management at all in this mess.

^^^the management at gb needs to make a decision so that everyone can get situated instead of stringing this out. i think if rogers was guarenteed to start next year he would stay and be the backup this year. afterall, what is the rush when you have farve as your mentor. when rogers does step in, well good luck trying to fill those shoes. without farve i think gb is in trouble so they need to just sign him for another year and get rogers on board to start next year.

Let him comeback if he wants.....I love watching him embarass himself in playoff game after playoff game with 4 or 5 pics per game that cause his team to lose. Why dont the sports media talk about that?

They do. In any given game, Favre can throw 4-5 intercepts; But he's just as likely to throw 4-5 touchdowns. That's what makes the guy fantastic. You take the risk with the reward; And the rewards greately outnumber the risks.

This guy reminds me of Emitt Smith.
Why? Remember when his dumb-greedy-asz decides to go to Cardinals for count em, 1 year after his elustrious career with da Boys! his first and only year, he gets knocked into retirement by none other than a Cowboy (Roy Williams)!
Look, do what Strahan did... Retire on top and with the team that created you. Don't be a greedy bastid and isht all on ya fans like that. :nono:
Oh well... Guss the Jets will win 2 more this year.

I'm glad to see him a Jet. I'm glad to see him playing. I'm glad that the Green Bay fiasco is over.
