With the NFL season almost upon us, what is everyones predictions for the up and coming season. There has been a lot of big name trades, a lot of questionable trades, and a lot of questionable cuts. Any thoughts?

in the NFC, the Saints sure did load up on some talent so they look like pretty strong contenders...

i wonder how Dallas will do this year after yet another playoff loss.

Did you guys see the comparison NFL Network did between the Dallas Cowboys from Last year and the '96 Broncos?

Broncos went 13-3 and lost in there first round. Loaded up on players in the off-season, and went 12-4 the next season and went on to win the superbowl. I'll be happy if we do that!

Romo needs to abstain from sex before big games. he seems to lack that oomph.

Dallas needs some veteran leadership.

I'm assuming that means fingers crossed?

I think Romo will do better this season. I think he was kind-of start struck last season. Also, a lot of people keep forgetting; last season was his first season as a starter.

I never gaurantee anything, but I think we'll be pretty good this season.

Shockey can be clutch, but he has to keep reminding himself that he isn't gods gift to football.

i dont think its that big of a risk. Brees loves to his TE's (see Gates) and now he has a nice skilled one to throw to, if he stays healthy (Shockey).

the Saints O's going to be pretty killer.

i think the Shockey trade benefitted the Saints more than it hurt the Giants to lose him. does that make any sense?

That's under the assumption that Shockey will be content with the # of pass attempts his way.

I'm not a Raiders fan, but it would be nice to see them have a winning season. I can't remember the last time they had one! (Not being funny)

It wasn't so much pass attempts... it was the fact that his #1 priority for the team was blocking. Not getting enough passes and not having the opportunity to receive a pass is totally different.
