HBO SPORTS, NFL FILMS AND “AMERICA’S TEAM” JOIN FORCES FOR

A NEW SEASON OF THE ULTIMATE REALITY SERIES WHEN

HARD KNOCKS: TRAINING CAMP WITH THE DALLAS COWBOYS,

CHRONICLING THE TRIALS AND HEARTACHES OF NFL TRAINING CAMP,

DEBUTS WEDNESDAY, AUG. 6, EXCLUSIVELY ON HBO

DALLAS, May 7, 2008 – HBO Sports, NFL Films and the Dallas Cowboys will team up this summer for an all-access look at what it takes to make it in the National Football League when HARD KNOCKS: TRAINING CAMP WITH THE DALLAS COWBOYS debuts in August. The first sports-based reality series – and one of the fastest-turnaround reality series – kicks off its fourth season WEDNESDAY, AUG. 6 (10:00 p.m. ET/PT), exclusively on HBO. Subsequent hour-long episodes air each Wednesday at the same time, culminating in the Sept. 3 season finale, with regular encore plays on Thursdays.

“We are extremely excited that HARD KNOCKS will be returning this summer and reconnecting with one of the great franchises in professional sports,” says Ross Greenburg, president, HBO Sports. “With an abundant lineup of stars, the Cowboys are again one of the most intriguing teams in the NFL. We are as eager as a first-round draft choice for next summer’s camp.”

“It’s the most challenging, high-profile project of the year for NFL Films,” says NFL Films president Steve Sabol. “There is no shooting script, no structure, no format. The storylines change weekly. For NFL Films, it is a six-week-long audible. We’re privileged to be able to work with HBO and the Cowboys, the most glamorous franchise in pro sports.”

The five-episode cinema verité series will focus on the daily lives and routines of players and coaches as the Dallas Cowboys, an organization steeped in championship tradition, prepare for the 2008 NFL season in the ultra-competitive NFC East. HARD KNOCKS: TRAINING CAMP WITH THE DALLAS COWBOYS will chronicle second-year head coach Wade Phillips and an intriguing mix of high-profile veterans, free agents and rookie hopefuls throughout training camp and the preseason. Each week, viewers will watch as players experience drills, meetings and fun, while struggling to prove they have what it takes to make the team and make their mark in the NFL.

“HBO’s ability to develop sports and entertainment franchises is unmatched in television,” says Jerry Jones, owner and general manager, Dallas Cowboys. “They commit the resources to do it the right way, and they know how to effectively reach sports fans. This is an opportunity for the Cowboys to bring millions of our fans closer to our team and the training camp experience.”

A 24-person NFL Films crew will live at the Cowboys’ training camp, shooting more than 700 hours of video over the course of the series. Camera and sound crews will be given unencumbered access to the players’ and coaches’ meeting rooms, training rooms, dormitories and practice fields.

Nah, they know there is a better chance of made-for-TV drama w/ the Cowboys than w/ any other team (ok, maybe Cincy, too)

Dallas...home of the band wagon. 2nd most talented team in the NFL last year. 1 and done in the playoffs. They need to work on their intestinal fortitude in the off-season. When was the last time they won a playoff game again? Will this year be different? Well, their roster states that unless they have massive injuries they should be the NFC rep in the SB....so Ill say 1st seed, 1st round bye and a loss in the 2nd round.

Bingo...I'll be a believer once they get to the NFC championship.

last year was definitely a heart breaker....... been waiting 10+ years for the Boys to win a freakin playoff game. Are best chance in years and the damn Giants go on there historic hot streak!

THe addition of Pacman(if he can stay out of court) is a huge addition to our secondary. Hopefully R. Williams can get his sh1t back together.

And seriously, get the Glenn situation handled already! Forget this injury settlement nonsense. Just get him to camp!

Biggest question for me is how Zach Thomas is going to fit in with our defense. Should be interesting..................... (if he doesnt get another concussion) Im still wondering why we picked him up. He's a good run defender but our rush defense was very good last year. We really need to get more pressure on the QB. (which he's not know for)

actually, not much was really expected of them until maybe last year. the year before last, romo didnt start until the 4th game. so really romo has just over a year and half of starting under his belt, in which he has lead the team into the playoffs. now its time for him to take us further.

Same old boys, the fans act like we give a damn about their team. I don't, nor do I care to watch soap box operas either.

Buncha f'n haters.

So what we didn't get the bowl last year... AND?

Dallas is the most valuable team in the entire NFL. (look it up)
Dallas has more fans nationwide than any other team.
Dallas is the team you haters love to hate. Ha!

It's all good in the hood.

Early prediction: 14-4. And if we make it to the Super Bowl... GAME OVER!

NFC Playoffs Cowboys vs Giants

post 65
Well T.O. had an interview with Deon Sanders which will air tomorrow during the halftime of Pats/Jags game.

in a nutshell he says again... "Get ya popcorn ready".
Deon asked "I don't want to see T.O. less than 100%?"
His reply.... "Oh don't you worry about that, I'm gone be just fine!".

Dudes... Romonage and T.O.wnage are gonna make minced meet of their secondary. And I love Michael Strahan as a person and athlete, but his joking around is gonna come back to haunt him. Referring to my man sleeping in a hyperbaric chamber like Michael Jackson! Yeah he may own one, and may sleep in it, (I wish I had one of those!) but the "like Michael Jackson" reference wasn't necessary. And Strahan will see why day after tomorrow.... When T.O.dance in the End Zone like Michael Jackson!

How Bout Dem' COWBOYS...!!!

That's what I'm talkin about baby!!!

Our defense redeemed themselves in convincing fashion.

And our offense... Well... What can't be said? 35+ points back-2-back!

Say it with me... "NFC East is a done deal."

And I'm so glad we obtained and retained my brotha from anotha Motha... The MAN himself... T.O

Post 45

What? Dude r u serious?

Fcuk, if we can win all 4 of those games, barring injury, we will go on to win the Superbowl!

Roy's my boy, but like the late great and associate of mine, Darren Woodson, his legs and age can't keep up with these bigger, quicker receivers. He needs to be kept up closer to the line, BUT as he showed Sunday, he is still a interception threat!

Any Questions...?

How bout a big congrats to the # 1 Team in the NFC!!!

Oh my bad... I mean a congrats to Rex Grossman for giving us the game...

Yeah... RIGHT! We put a good. and what's more, SOLID stompin on that azz. I don't want to hear no more BS about our defense is this, our defense is that. Even with an average defense, our offense (without injury) is easily the best and can take us where... The SUPERBOWL. There I said it... What?

ANY FOKIN QUESTIONS...?

We'll be seein the Pats again to exact some revenge on their ass...

Superbowl here we come!

That is all goodnight.

Post 477That post just lost all what microscopic credibility you may have purchased at some point in your lifetime...

Luck???

WTF....? It's called talent son. With a good helping of ROMONAGE.

Just face it... We will face off against the Patriots in the Big Game bro. Don't worry... Brett will be watching the game from home just like you.

Ohhh... I ain't betting sh1t either... But I'm sure gonna talk a bunch of it.

Post 580 EATING CROW KINDA OF

Props to Phillys D. At least they played a "fair" game.. We all know they can get dirty with it. Like Aikman said, Romos thumb is bothering him and its obvious! Dude is one of the highest passer ratings all season until today... Passes were too high and way off, even when he had protection. Its all good though... This keeps folks grounded. BUT... We must win the last 2 and retain homefield. Don't wanna be foking around up in Canada with gb...

So my brotha from anotha motha, TO, won't play against the Skins. Just as well... Meaningless game for us and we TO in the playoff run to Superbowl
Oh... Did I mention our last years most productive receiver Terry Glen returns this Sunday against the Skins...

Post 716Any given Sunday... Bottom line. We were severely outcoached 2nd half. But for TO who is always scrutinized about being selfish and self centered to express emotion over a tremendous loss, shows just how much class and respect he has... At least to people who have the same

If I remember right you & stefanZ had probably the hightest % of picking games correctly. I think Splby had a perfect week including the MNF game in about week 12 or 13.
