btw, Lackey took a no hitter into the ninth against Boston and won with a 2 hitter....and the Angels traded Kotchman and a AA pitcher for Teixeira. He joins the juggernaut tomorrow....

Seven straight wins against Boston...both here and there....

I'm pretty confident how baseball is gonna play out.

While I agree LAA is now and prob has been the team to beat. You still havent beat the Sox when you had too.

You guys think you can keep him or just renting? I wanted him in BOS but there is just no place to put him.

Probably renting. Vlad Guerrero is a free agent at the end of this year, Anderson comes up on a 14 mil option, Frankie Rodriduez wants Rivera money (like 75 mil)

.... but I hope Frankie goes and Anderson goes so we can free up some money to keep Teixeira and Guerrero.

No, just an error in the title....he's rented til the end of the season. Although Atlanta gets to keep Kotchman for 3 years! Hopefully, this wasn't a bad trade. Kotch is gonna be a gold glove IMO plus he's only 8 dingers behind Teixeira this year.

I am annoyed with Boston. They haven't made ANY moves and there is definitely room for improvement. We have 24 hrs left and I doubt anything happens.

Despite all the Manny crap, the Angels just intentionally walked him.

im pissed as im a braves fan 1st!!! but im happy as the angels r my 2nd fav team, but us braves r just so beat up this year, i think we have a DL that would b payrolled more than 1/2 the teams in the MLB!!!!

Not sure why but im a closet Angles fan. Most underrated coatching and ownership in sports imo. Its really great what they have done and players the develop. Cant remember last bad move they made.
