blah, as a Florida glad I'm happy, but being Nebraska born, where's the Huskers? (and yes I rooted for the Huskers against my "Ala" in '96)

looking at my location, you can guess that I'm not super excited about the coming football season... but I'll be at every game anyway.

and at the end of the season, half of them will be out of the top 20. SEC is strong and if they didnt have to play each other and cause each other to rack up a loss then the SEC would most likely take up as many spots in the top 15 as they could ( except USC..........they just suck)

not quite sure how i feel about that. Id rather be rated out of the top 25 at the begging of the season and end in the top 20 instead of being ranked in the top 10 at the begging and end out of the top 25 at the end.

Maybe well actually win a bowl this year........

1. Georgia (22) - Weight of the world on their shoulders to start the season. The spot light on their asses every week trying to predict will the #1 team lose this week or not. Will the Liar tell his his entire team to dance on the field after every touchdown. Can Pricht and his buttsniffer fan base handle the pressure - Answer No. Only a matter of when and where given the schedule.

2. Southern California (14) - Pac Least conference - will they get any competition in conference this year. Guess is yes. In recent years they play a few games in which they get tested.

3. Ohio State (14) - Overrated conference playing one legit out of conference game in which on paper should get their asses handed to them again. Will they sleepwalk through the conference again with one loss making it again to the BCS game for which they lay another egg again. Given what has happened the last two years their asses don't deserve to be ranked in the top 5. No body in the nation beyond Ohio wants to see them play in the BCS championship game anymore.

4. Oklahoma (3) - Talented but something happens to them in the bowl games. Favored to win conference. Will they survive it with other teams lurking around.

5. Florida (5) - Inexperienced last year and it showed throughout the year proving that too many defensive players bolted to the next level from the 2006 team. Will another year make a difference. Is there another Heisman in the trophy case. Is there a trip to the ATL this year with possible BCS implications on the line. Will Urban shove his foot up Pricht's butt.

6. LSU (3) - BSC champs. Target will be on their back in the conference. Lucky ass team last year. Will their luck hold up or will going for 50 billion 4th downs catch up with the A-hole Miles. All the talent in the world but lost their defensive coordinator and have no experienced quarterback. Can you get through the season with no quarterback.

7. Missouri - Magical season last year losing to Boomer Sooner twice. One year wonder. Can they keep it up or will other teams in the conference figure them out.

8. West Virginia - Will loss of A-hole Rich Rodriguez mean anything to this program now. Can they continue what they did from bowl game. Will Pat White last an entire season. Or will Racoonville figure out ways to choke away games they are favored to win just like Pitt.

9. Clemson - Son of Booby. All the talent in the world but always figures out ways to lose games they are supposed win. Favored to win the conference but just like Charlie Brown they always figure out ways not to get to the ACC championship game. Can Clempson handled the preseason hype - I doubt it.

10. Texas - Every since Vince Young left - Mack Brown lead teams have reverted back to their old ways. You have the talent but never comes of the season (any championships) just like Clempson.

11. Auburn - the mighty warchickens trying to implement a new offense with a new quarterback. Defensively should be fine but it usually takes a few years to implement a spread offensive effectively. Can their defense save their offensive until it figures it out during the middle of the season - I doubt it. Road bumps are ahead. Question is when they occur and do they occur often enough to prevent them from getting to the ATL in December.

12. Wisconsin - the liberal cheeseheads. On paper should compete for the conference title but somehow the Bucknuts win in the end. Will it happen again like it does every year.

13. Kansas - Just like Mizzoui. Magical season. Can they do it again or are they one hit wonders.

14. Texas Tech - Two words - No defense. A program who has all the offense in the world but never put out quality defense. Can you score 50 points a game. You better because that will be the only way to win your conference.

15. Virginia Tech - a team that should contend in their weak ass conference every year. Will they have a quality running back. Will the Turkeys get back to the ACC championship game. They have talent and play in a weak ass conference to make it to a BCS game but they usually figure out ways to lay an egg or two during the regular season.

16. Arizona State - Another team from the Pac Least. You get your chance against the Buttsniffers. You better take advantage of it.

17. Brigham Young - Who cares - You play no body and play in an average conference. You should try to get into the Pac Least conference.

18. Tennessee - Doughnut boy get an extension but will UToothville call for his head again if Urbanville puts a 70 spot in Knoxvegas. Will he survive any more subpoenas from the state of hickville or is he more concerned with surviving his early west coast game to UCLA against their new coach. Eat more doughnuts big boy because you will need your sugar intake this season.

19. Illinois - The ole Zooker. Provided a winning season. Can he do it again. Can you add more wins this season. You beat the Bucknuts so your fans will expect more whether you like it or not. Will you melt under the pressure. Will you coach like you have a stick up your rear end. Can you win in the fourth quarter like what you began to show last year. Can you win a conference championship. Are you getting better and better.

20. Oregon - New quarterback with the same butt ugly uniforms. Those uniforms alone will cost you wins.

21. South Florida - Good season but flamed out in the end. Will they contend for a conference championship or will they just tease their fans playing well again to begin the season and then running out of gas. Opportunity to pass Scum and Felon U within the State of Florida. You better take advantage of it.

22. Penn State - Jo Pa's last season potentially. Will recruiting all of your thug players get you a conference championship or not. Will the arrests continue on campass. Will your football players continue to beat up your fellow students. Will Jo Pa's survive the season without getting hurt on the sidelines or not. Thug U is Penn St U - win at all costs so we can get some form of championship (bsc or conference) so our program can finally kick Jo Pa to the curb to get in some new blood.

23. Wake Forest - Opportunity to win the conference potentially. Can't sneak up on anybody anymore. Any injuries can cause a similar outcome to the season like last year.

24. Michigan - Whinegan - Just like the warchickens implementing new offense with an A-hole for a coach. How long will it take to implement the offense. Can they win the conference learning the spread offense on the fly. I say no. Will they lose to the Bucknuts again. Do they like losing to the Bucknuts every year. Do the players even like their new head coach and will they provide any effort for him or not.

25. Fresno State - Very good out of conference schedule playing in an average conference. Can they win those out of conference games. Can they even compete in those out of conference games. I tend to think maybe put forth a good effort but at some point lose several of those games.

Felon and Scum - no where to be found.

Why is Wisconsin so far above UI? Did they get a really sick recruiting class or good transfers or something?

Diesel350, quit being a typical SE person and knocking the pac10. (I do agree with a lot of what you posted though). However, I think the pac10 conference is one in which nearly either team in a conference game has a chance at winning.

As for USC, lets see Stanford beats them last year, OSU the year prior in conference games. No doubt they are a very stout team(I think they will be great this year) but its a true example that in the Pac10 nearly any conference game is up in the air.

Wow, my Wolverines actually made the list (shocked). This could be an ugly year for my squad...

< Cannot wait to see USC/OSU (week 3 circle your calendars)

I'll be in Vegas 1st week of college football season to place a few sports bets

Get out of Ohio and go where you belong

Week 3 USC vs Ohio State should be a good one.

Pre-season polls mean nothing to me. SC needs to win them all and raise that crystal football at the end of they year. That's all that matters to me.
