How the fuk can J.R Holden play for Russia? I thought you had to have blood ties or born for the nation for which you play.

Or play for the Russian team in international play I think. Becky Hammond of the WNBA did that and now plays for Russia's olympic team even though she's not Russian. She got citizenship by playing for a Russian international team.

Depends I guess. Who are we sending out this year? If I remember correctly, our problem four years ago was that we sent out a group of folks known for individual talent who all got out there and tried to be the star of the game each and every one. Which meant that when they ran across teams that actually played as teams they got their asses handed to them. So my question is, are we doing the same and send a group made up of a bunch of egotistical morons who all suffer from narcissism, or are we sending an actual team this year?

But then I honestly don’t care, I’m more of a football fan anyway.

3. Im happy with all the chosen players....they are playing like a TEAM right now.

The last game i watched was the game versus Canada (55 point win)

3. I don't know about J.Kidd but otherwise the team looks pretty good.

Russia seemed to give them some problems at times and they're ranked #16! I think it may be more tough then alot think. I would also replace Prince with KG, I think KG is more suited for International play. He can spread the floor, pass, or put the ball on the ground. Chris Bosh doesnt excite me either.

this should b a walk for the U.S. Team, i think Kobe and Lebron could take out some of the teams in this years olympics by themselves

I think the team and staff is great this year. D'antoni has a lot of experience with the European style of playing. They're defending the pick and roll much better this year (last Olympic's Achille's heel) and 3-pt shooting is up.

I would have liked to add Timmy and/or KG. I'm not a big fan of Chris Bosh so I would probably take him off in place of a bigger body. Hehe... if it was up to me and if he was healthy, I would have liked to see Andrew Bynum in an Olympic uni.

1. I want to say 100% but team USA needs to show presence in the paint...

2. Coach K, you can't go wrong...

3. As I stated before, USA needs to show dominance in the paint, Dwight Howard can only do so much by himself... Chris Bosh is not a dominant player, neither is Prince. As someone stated, I would prefer KG, eventhough he declined, Emeka Okafor and Tyson Chandler... for defensive presence in the paint (blocks and rebounds)

I thought Chris Kaman was playing on the Germany team with Dirk. Anyways, to play for another country you don't need blood dies, just have to have citizenship and make their team.

After the 1st quarter I was a little worried, Bosh played a lot better than I thought he would. Our perimeter game could have been better also.
