Oh well, wanted to see Favre traded to a team that will play against the Packers, for pay back. At least the Jets now have a star QB.

I'm glad to see him go some where other than Tampa. I have faith in Garcia, and know that he can lead the team, because I've seen him do it. Favre would have just mad hype and sold tickets. I want the Bucs to earn those tickets.

I also didn't want to send my newly purchased Garcia jersey back, in exchange for a Favre jersey

"According to the NFL Network, if Favre takes 50 percent of total snaps with the Jets in 2008, the fourth rounder becomes a third-round pick. If he gets 70 percent of the snaps and the Jets make the playoffs, it becomes a second-round pick; and if he gets 80 percent of snaps and the Jets make the Super Bowl, it becomes a first-round pick."

+1. Not sure he can learn a whole new system/playbook in time for the start of the season. He better do well, though. If the Jets tank, everyone in Wisconsin will be saying, "Whew! See, we dodged a bullet!" But I have faith in Favre. I'm pulling for him (if not for the Jets).

Also +1, and the Bucs probably wouldn've been better for Favre because he's worked with Gruden before.

I always hate seeing a future hall of famer ending his career with a losing effort, such as Joe Montana with the Chiefs. I had the opportunity to see this player take a crappy team & almost get to the SB last year, Jets fans don't hold your breath.
