9 year olds should already have the "being a good loser" mentality already engrained in them and shouldn't be getting so upset when they lose to a better team. So the guy's a good pitcher, so what? You can't kick people out of a sport because they are too good.

By that reason Dustin Pedroia and David Eckstein were too small to play. They should have just stayed home.

The kid already plays in a highly advanced league for his age. He then goes down and plays with kids who suck. Why is he pitching against the sucky kids? Why not play the field and bat to get more experience. When he plays in his advanced league he is no longer the best. Not to mention the league offered to bump him up in age, but the parents declined. As always there are many sides to a story.

My child will always be playing up in age b/c of his talent level and you only get better by playing better competition, not walking over the lesser opponents

Its also been reported the head of the league wanted the kid on his team... the kid refused and they are black balling him. I bet ESPN skipped that part.
