Ok so this is a free country so you can think he is guilty or not guilty. We also have a judicial system in which you are innocent until proven guilt and Kobe was indeed never proven guilty. Rape is a heinous crime. If Kobe did rape her, then he should be put away. I don't know all the details, nor do I claim that I know how a rape victim feels. If she was raped, I don't think that's how victim would act. "Rapping" about the incident. Maybe she this is her form of therapy. I don't know.
From her actions on You Tube, and what transpired during the summer of '04, I would say she was not raped. In our culture perception is reality. IMHO.

Okay. I admit I was harsh because that does sound terrible. I'm not above retracting something I said in haste.
But this brings up a pet peeve I have with our society. Why is it so unthinkable in our society to place the blame on the victim?
The idea that the victim is completely at fault is reprehensible... that's not what I'm trying to convey. Nevermind this case, i'm not saying Kobe or any celebrity has the right to rape anyone who goes to their bedroom because there is always the possibility that it the girl is completely ignorant and gullible, but i've always believed that all actions have consequences and by certain actions you should be held partly responsible.
If I wear a mask and look like a robber and walked into a jewelry store, and get shot by the owner b/c he thinks he's being robbed, would not some of the fault lie with me? If I walk down a bad neighborhood with a huge golden chain with diamonds around my neck, would it not be bad judgment that caused me to get robbed? If I befriend a bunch of gangbangers, and they commit a drive by while I'm driving, I would be held partly responsible for the murders too.
Rape is a terrible thing. It's the most violent act a human being can do to another outside of murder and torture. But if she really was a victim, and the facts the media put out is correct, then i think a person should be partly responsible for putting themselves in that situation.

Seriously though, I feel awful for her if she was raped. What was the outcome of the case/trial? Was there any civil action or settlement? I don't care what her intentions walking in the room were, if she was raped, then Kobe needed to go away for a while.

I feel you on sometimes people put themselves in bad positions. But nobody asks to be killed, raped or whatever. I do not think you can blame the victim. You can say well you did make it easier for them to...... Or you put yourself in a bad spot...... But I do not think you can blame a victim.

I really don't believe she was raped. I've commented on this before but once again, I think she just got caught up in the fact that superstar Kobe Bryant wanted to bone so she figured why the hell not. After he pulled out and busted in her eye he probably wanted nothing to do with her and sent her packing . She then became bitter and came up with a good idea to get him back.
Now, I'm not saying this is set in stone (if she was really raped then Kobe should burn in hell) but knowing how crazy girls can get I wouldn't put it past her.
