My Free Fantasy Football League and Survivor game is ready for My350z and G35Driver forum members to play at YahooSports. Prize offered to top winner at end of game or NFL season. Any forum member can play BOTH games.
This year will do 1 FF league, but I may start a 2nd league if this league fills quickly. NOTE: Your allowed to join this league once, and you MUST use your Forum username as your player name. League is a 14-team PPR league with live draft. I may lower to 12-team. Position players: QB, RB, WR, WR, WR/RB, WR/RB, TE, K, Def.
League #1: Live draft on Mon. Aug 31st 6:30 PDT. Prize offered to league winner- Eclipse CD8443 cd player with remote. 2nd place will receive a consolation prize ( not yet determined ).

Survivor League game: How to play? Pick a team to win straight-up for that week. If they win, you move on to the following week. If they lose, then your out/eliminated. The last player standing wins. Your allowed to pick that team once only. It may sound easy to win, but I've seen some leagues only last few weeks. So to make it a little easier for players, instead of 1-strike or 1-lost, it will be 2-strikes/lost and your out of this game. If a tie at end of season/game, person with no strikes win, if another tie then will move to next week or playoff games....... Pick wisely and good luck to all.
Choice of Prizes to the lone survivor: 1. Supplements: NEW Syntha-6 protein powder with Cytomax Performance drink. 2. K9 Ultra car alarm ( new ). ..... Will probably add more prize to choose from.
NOTE: If either leagues do not fill or not much interest, then I may cancel the game. These prizes may then be added to the NFL Football Pool League instead.
Will give it till the weekend to decide. I'm sure there will be some last minute players to join. If I do lower to 12 teams or less, I may change setting to add a 2nd RB and lower W/R spot to 1 instead of 2 flex position.

So you've been checking out at some Mock drafts? Not sure what my strategy is this year. I guess it boils down to where I pick in draft. I hate waiting before draft time to see where I pick.

ive been doing them since June.
in two of my other leagues we have draft lotteries where me and the bros get together and draw names and this year i got 1st in one and 9th in the other...both 12 man leagues.
near the back starting at about 7 and down ive seen a lot of teams go two wides with their first two picks and take their chances on a back later since there are so many viable options this year.

Awesome. I myself, would prefer to pick either top 3 or 4 picks, if not then last 3 picks of first round. Since your draft order is ready for those leagues, whats your plan or strategy.

in the one where im picking first im planning to go with Peterson (dont want to miss out on a potential 2,000 yard season), then a second tier wide in the likes of Boldin, White, Jennings, Colston, etc., and most likely follow up with Barber or Brown in the 3rd. after that try to get a decent backup RB and possibly go with Romo, who i think will have a good year.
in the one where im picking 9th im looking at drafting at least one of the top three wides: Moss, AJ, Larry, then go with whatever back is leftover on the comeback, and value pick from there on out.
is there anyone youre high on this year?

^^ Sounds like a good plan as the #1 pick. For me I'm still debating if I would take Drew over Peterson. I like Jennings/White over Boldin/Colston ( too many other WR options in their teams ). Im not too sure about Romo this year, I would probably wait for Rodgers, Warner, Rivers, or even wait for your hometeam guy Shaub.
As the 9th pick in the other league, you sure you want to pass up Bress or Brady, and risk not getting a stud QB coming back?

Scary part about Rodgers, that was his first year starting. So this year Im thinking that offense will be much better. With RB Grant having a better season. Manning is going around early 3rd, but Im just not overly confident with that offense this year, same with Romo. I still need to see Romo click with R. Williams.
