I'm a tennis fan myself. Played on my h.s. team and played when i was younger. I think serena did was absolutely terrible. I understand you are upset with the calls and on the verge of being upset in a mjor, but keep it together. She should be hit with more punishment that just a $10k fine. I hope the ongoing investigation leads to more of a punishment.
Federer on the other hand, is def the g.o.a.t. He's ability to adapt to anyone's game and seek out their weaknesses is bar none. Not to mention his creativity on every point.
I was hoping Wozniaki won the womens final. She's young and has plenty of potential!
I'm not a huge Tennis fan but I watch the Slams every chance I get.
Fed is going on an amazing run this year. Good to see after his struggles last year... and the dude doesn't get enough credit.
His semis streak, his US Open streak, and his record against players outside of the top 5 (isn't it something like 147-0? In an individual sport? Absolutely INSANE) shows this is not only one of the most durable athletes of our generation... the guy is one of the most mentally tough and focused athletes in sports period.
you never never never call a foot fault at that stage in the game. the line judge was wrong for doing that. serena had a right to be mad but she took it too far.
i'm also a big tennis fan and played in hs as well. i still try to play a couple times a week. well anyways, serena and kanye are freaking douches!!! i can't stand them both.

I agree, they never call that ish...horrible call. The call should have been overidden and the point replayed. I like passion and I have thrown my tempers on the court, but she went way over board. It was funny though...she said something like "you see this ball? I'm going to shove it down your freakin throat."
Roger's play was amazing because it was a winner too, he just elevates his play everytime he needs to, it's amazing.
love tennis, been watching it..Serena isnt any worse then mcenroe back in his day..Every point is important in tennis and can turn the tide of the match...especially the time in the match that fault was called...It may be tennis but its the 21st century, they make it out to me a SIN to curse.
As for federer..I would expect nothing less ..I just wanted to see Roddick walk away with the open this year, hes just to metally unstable lol.
Yeah, 10 grand will really teach that loudmouth *itch a lesson
That's pocket change for her. Probably spends that a week on hair styling and MANicures!
I think she should be thrown out for the rest of the tennis season. No excuse for that BS, bad call or not. Did that stupid ho think threatening the line judge was going to get the call reversed???????
Yea, she shouldnt show emotion you guys r right....
You are confused. If she wanted to show emotion, she should have whooped Clister's ass on the court. She didn't because she couldn't.
By the way, now she wants to "hug" the line judge. What a crock. It's also a crock they allowed her to play in the doubles. She should have been banned from the property.

NEW YORK (AP) - After two days to think about it, Serena Williams wishes she could give the line judge she yelled at "a big ol' hug."
Williams teamed with sister Venus on Monday to win the U.S. Open doubles title with a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Cara Black and Liezel Huber. At the post-match news conference, she discussed her outburst Saturday.
After being called for a foot fault toward the end of her match against Kim Clijsters, she directed a profanity-laced tirade at the line judge that led to a point penalty that ended the match.
Williams was fined $10,000 on Sunday and issued a written apology Monday, a day after coming out with a different, less-contrite statement.
In the news conference, she said the line judge was only doing her job.
Asked what she'd do if she saw the line judge again, Williams replied: "I'd like to give her a big ol' hug and put it all behind us like I have. Move on from it like I have and just learn."
