Sorry if this is a repost, but my friends and I were trying to come up with the logic on some of the team names while watching a couple of the games last night. After finding the answers this morning, looks like we were wrong on a few, lol.
Being a Magic fan, I was kind of surprised to see the other three finalist names as the Orlando Heat, Orlando Tropics, and Orlando Juice (as in Orange Juice), lol. Thankfully we didn't get any of those stupid names.
San Diego Rockets and [now] Houston Rockets actually make sense (NASA).
