In plain trerms:
A helper spring does two things. The first is it allows the main spring to sit lower to make the car lower without having to droop the main spring (leave a gap between the spring collar and main spring) so when the suspension is at full droop (at its longest point) it doesn't unsettle the spring.
The second thing is that it makes the shock piston sit lower in the body, this gives the car more droop travel. this is especially good under hard cornering because the extra travel will keep the inside rear on the ground, giving it traction instead of lifting the inside rear
these prices are unbelievable. thats for the answer on that question, i was wondering also. so for the price difference and with your knowledge, which one would you take personally between the gr+ and the pro?

I was on the very same boat about 15 minutes ago. I call Stance and they cleared it up for me. Basically it depends on what you are doing. I told Stance I was a daily driver and suggested GR+. I asked about the the GR+Pro and was told these were intended for tracking.
so I just ordered a set of GR+ for my z....thank God I finally made up my mind....
So did Stance say that the Pro would be uncomfortable for the street and that the GR+ is more of a streetable setup?
I was under the impression that the two setups were the same as far as spring rates and comfort.
Can you clarify this IntenseAero?
Different applications for different purposes is what I was told. However confort was an issue for me as I explained to him that I was a daily driver and wasn't planning on tracking my Z. However I bet if I called them and said I'm going to do a 50/50; daily drive and track/autocros Stance will recomend a different set up...give them a call, they are very informative and talk to you with simple words.
how do you adjust the rear dampers? any extenders like bc coils?
Yes!!! I'm so sorry guys for not telling you about the extenders. It is optional but if you want to adjust the dampening you need these extenders installed at the same time you install your coilovers. You can choose not to get these extenders but that would defeat the purpose of the adjusting feature of the dampening.
