I'll be at my shop. Got cars we need to finish. We're telling customers that we can't start on their car till second & third week of March.

We're just that busy! Which is good. The blower special is a huge factor.

Hello my fellow Houstonians! I recently have returned to Houston where I was born and raised, I spent the last 5 years in FL. I'm only here until mid march, and luckily I had some extra money to blow. After doing some research on the parts and different shops I've decided to do a greddy twin turbo built put together by JTran Studios. I've heard nothing but good things about Jtran Studios and I couldn't find anyone to beat the price they gave me.

Here's my build list:
Greddy 20g tuner kit
Greddy turbo Ti-C exhaust
ACT clutch
UTEC
Greddy BOV
Blitz turbo timer
RC 750cc injectors
Walboro fuel pump

I ran outta money after that I still want Defi gauges, and the HKS evc VI boost controller, but I guess those will have to wait. The parts should be in mid next week and then the build should start. Pic of the ride:

Also I heard a few of you are in the military from the folks at JTran. I actually saw your Z mike, when I stopped by a few times looks awesome man. USAF here, I'm waiting until my training starts up. They put me on IRR status for the time being, so I decided just to come back to houston while I wait, I go active duty mid march and will be at Laughlin AFB

Welcome back! Ex-USAF (3E751) here. Was also stationed at Laughlin AFB back in '02-'05. Congrats on the build and you won't be disappointed!

Mike & I both understand. Military pay check only go so far. However, FWIW, I made more in the USAF and 3-4 times as much as a contractor than I do now. However I have more love for what I'm doing.

Sup Houston..........

how goes it...........glad you guys have a lounge thread going now...

I know Houston quite well as i visited/worked there often on projects.

My wife and I think in the next few years we may move there as well. I moved to DFW after turning down a Boeing position at JSC/Nasa...

Any of you guys engineers?

Were thinking I may pursue that next/again in the next few years... I hope to make it down to a few meets one day, etc....

Not an engineer here but Houston is way better than Dallas/Ft. Worth. No snow!

Is your car running a bit hot? Might be a fan not spinning. Without hearing it myself can't think of much else.
