^^ Y? because he has a rather vulgar way of defending the fighting men and women of this country.

He might be annoying and many other things, but has my support in this thread. That tool (Dildorado) deserves every bit of what Hraesvelg is throwing at him. Fine take crap about the government of a country you don't live in, but to talk crap about the people that serve there country and put there life on the line for it. I hope he burns

I think Dildofuker hasn't realized the only reason he's free is because the US military is in the way of Canada getting invaded.

I grew up in the service (Air Force) - born in the PI raised everywhere. Joined the Navy at 18 and loved it. My grandfathers, uncles were/are vets but my father made it a career. I served four years, four great years! I would still be in there had I been selected for OCS. After my service I went back to school. I would be very proud if my sons decided to serve AFTER college. The military is the force that allows everyone (including the left wing nuts) to spew their garbage. I find it humerous when people speak negatively about our government in general. Try that in Iran, Russia, China...

No, it's the just the highest form of service. Being in the service is the ultimate gift to this great land. Nothing else comes close.

Military folks are the left-overs to start with. I'm surprised we are such a 'superpower' based solely on the low IQ of the mean military 'employee'.

Sorry guys, face facts

I am in no way defending Dildorado. I am just merely wondering where people like him and Hraesvelg get off adding mindless jibberish and bullsh-t to a thread. Just worthless losers. If you think your cool because you can turn an honest topic into a who can talk more "sh-t" your mistaken. I dont act my shoe size so I have the ability to ignore senseless rambling. Anyways on the right track and topic.......

I am active duty Army. I love my country, my family and the people I work with. I think its criminal I get paid to do what I do. I love my job.

Agree +1

Like I said I agree with what he is trying to defend, he just has a rather rash way of arguing a point.

actually ALOT of Special Forces Team leads (IE SEAL Team leads, Green Berets, Delta, etc etc) come out of the ivy league schools....maybe YOU should think about it.....besides Colonels makes damn near 6 figures in base pay alone that does not include all the tax free stuff like BAH, BAS, etc etc.

Sorry to disagree, but speaking for the "leftovers" as you called us...
I joined the military right after HS in 1990. There were very few decent jobs for people in my area, even with a college degree and I had no clear direction at that time. The experiences I had and the individuals I met significantly changed me and the outlook I had on life. I finished up in '94, started college (which was paid for), graduated in '98 and started grad school. Finished my M.A. in'01 and was accepted into a program that recruits students with Master's, Phds and law degrees into federal service.
Please don't lump everyone in with blanket statements like these because obviously you don't know what you're talking about. And "mandatory" military service would solve that whole "low IQ" issue you referred to....

Left overs? I'm president of medium sized manufacturing company. I wouldn't be as successful had it not been for the NAVY. I'll hire a vet before a civilian anyday. I think your opinoin of the military comes from watching too many movies and CNN if you think WE are leftovers. I've been both a civilian and a serviceman. I can draw conclusions from my experiences from the two. Can you? I don't know you. I wouldn't/couldn't judge you. But given two Fluid1's, one civilian and one vet, I'll take the vet everytime.
