Just wondering, how long would it take a letter to travel from norcal to socal? It's being delivered tomorrow at 5PM. Would I get it friday, saturday, or even later?

Well assuming you are talking about the United States Postal service... I would say 6-8 weeks...that is if you get it at all

Generally, if it is just a normal letter with normal first rate postage and it is sent within the same state you will either get it the next day or the day after.

You guys have better luck than I do. I still stand firm with my "if you get it at all" statement.

I use all the big blue boxes on street corners as personal trash cans...

A normal sized first class letter with the correct address/postage from Nor Cal to So CAl should be no more than two days. Unless the machine sorts it wrong or there is some kind of human error like mis delivery. The error of the DPS machine (which sorts and sequences most 1st class mail) is relatively low, less than 1% I believe.

USPS FTL!!! Anytime I order something and see that it's being shipped USPS, I just and kiss it goodbye for a while.

I've never had a problem with usps. Their online tracking system kinda sucks but other than that its fine.

Don't forget to add the zip+4 or whatever extra numbers they are adding these days. I noticed my letters get there faster with the zip+4
