I'm not sure about your legal options, but I know for damn sure something ought to be done to bring this scumbag down and out.

I pose the same question though...how the hell could you have signed that knowing your car looked like that? I know you were probably very eager to get your car back, but come on man...they butchered your car to hell. You have to be more careful about that kinda stuff. Chalk it up to a lesson learned.

I honestly can not express how sorry I am for your situation. The drilling of the sideskirts into the chassis makes me cringe. JT Auto did that with my nismo kit on my old 07...and I was pretty pissed about that. However, they only drilled in 5 spots...and they were well placed. Your screws aren't even in a straight line...man I feel so bad.

Talk to the BBB or your friend that works for the automotive section, they should know a little something about this.

Seriously...Fukc this guy. What a dik

My condolences again bro. So sorry to hear about the situation
Thanks. I signed for the car because, as Crimson said, it was dark and he had taken 2 weeks just to paint and install a lip kit. Obviously it's not a 2 week job and from the looks of it, he probably spent 3 or 4 hours on it, tops.

Waiting on word from my cousin to see what is going to happen.

No need to donate.

Again, we're only posting this to let people know of Import Image/iDesigns.

No need to feel sorry for us in any way, shape, or form.

Suggesting reputable, professional body shops is all we need.

Maybe legal advice would help.

Really though, I thank everybody for taking this seriously and not just posting "LOL You got owned!!!!111one".

This is something we've taken seriously since day one.

Mike needs his mind set straight. You don't violently rape a 350z and get away with it.

That is actually where I got an estimate yesterday. They estimated the repair cost would be around $4000 without a kit. The wife's owner even tried to help me get the overspray off the windows, but she couldn't find the stuff that her workers used.

Thank god I learned my lesson when I had my Honda, cheap price quotes always results in shaddy work. Here in NC, we have a bunch of lame backwood shops, so you really have to do your homework. You're in Cali, so I'm sure you have nothing but shops lined up ready to put you back on the right track. Good luck!

Whoa, this is the Mike that painted Grant's Y33 and his wife's UCF11?

He sprays without a mask, no wonder he thinks this sh*t is acceptable.

damn, that is horrible. I'm feels sorry for a person who has to go through this sh!t. The shop ruined the kit, AND he ruin the car. If you ever trade it in at the dealer.....they will deduct a huge amount from your car in the current condition.

Make them buy you a new kit and fix up the car!! I hope you didn't have to pay this shop for the work; it would be like paying them to ruin your Z!!

That is the worst install job I've ever seen. Sounds like this shop specializes in ricing out Civics and has never worked on a Z. How could you possibly accept this sort of failure on their part and pay them for ruining your car? Good luck man, you'll need it.

Yes, that's him.

Grant actually parted out and junked both chassis because the paint was so bad.

and I quote...

yokotas13

"he ruined two of my cars.

yeah, my celsior had parts on the kit that were still white, the back edge of my hood was white still, paint instantly chipped a week after when i was washing it, runs everywhere, huge orangepeel, parts of the door jamb had white on my car still etc etc etc"

I skimmed through Mike's previous work and am still amazed with it.

I don't know what the hell he was thinking when he shot this, but a simple apology doesn't fix a 1 year old Z33.

I had my Shine Auto V2 kit painted in a local shop.
Total came out to $750 because they had to refinish the front bumper completely.

The paint is amazing, flawless, and smooth. I feel bad for the OP

Yea, I remember the partout. I actually had dibs on his Work Emitz, till I noticed the rears were -30, not +30 lol.

I still can't seem to understand how a guy can do cars for SEMA and such then turn around and screw other people over.

I've never actually seen any of Mike's other work though. Can you post or PM some of it?

Now I'm positive he's stupid and doesn't know what he's doing.

I forgot my mask for 20 minutes when I sprayed a new coat. A week later I broke out and my lungs and throat swelled to the point I could barely breathe or get enough oxygen.

Catalyst can f*ck you up.

The guy has Great works??? Now I'm totally lost... it's easy to understand a shitty shop effing your car. But someone with "Great" works decide to cheap out on a brand new Z project... Was the guy on crack?? So he can do good work when he's not under the influence? or other way around?
