Got a couple of Mike's recent customers to go to Angry Panda. Apparently, Mike's got a new website, www.id-350.com (hmm, 350?)
There's a particular Z that had work done to fill in holes on the rear hatch from a previous wing install. There's a pic of that work on his site.
Well, the pic is so small that you can't see there are small indentations where the holes used to be.
Tell me what you guys think.
The first question I have is, where are the $100k+ exotic cars that he's been working on? (I don't count the GT-R because it is merely parked in front of the shop)
I love it overall, but the hatch is just ugly as hell.
Looks like Mike threw some bondo on it, sanded it down, and painted over it.
Masking job was ass too. The moulding to the hatch was from being masked incorrectly.(Idiot doesn't know you can remove that moulding, but hey, Mike knows what he's doing, right?)
The right side of the hatch is already fading.(Great work, Mike!)
I'll snap some pictures of the flaws the next time the Z comes in so we can install the PROPERLY painted parts on it.
Nobody in their right mind would take a 100k+ car to him for work.
Here's a pic of the Z.
The picture obviously doesn't show the flaws, but if you were to see the car in person, you'd laugh at how ridiculous it is.

LOL --> "We are here for you, whether if you want work done, or just have a question while your car is being worked on at another shop, we are here. We can also give you advice on what to look for after you pick up your car from another shop. In other words, we have done it all, from great jobs, to bad , so we know what other shops might do. We will help you get an advantage towards those slick bodyshops..."

Your visitors can read more about you as they browse your site, so limit your description to a few highlights, like this:
* Free consultations
* Certified Technicians
* Certified Body and Paint
* Satisfaction guarante...spl????

Hah, yeah. There are a lot of typos and flaws in grammar, etc.
The employee list seems fishy to me. The only contact info is his phone number; the same number he's been using for the last site and shop. What do people do if they want to talk to the other employees?
Certified techs? For what? It's a body shop... Also, where are the certifications displayed?
He will just come up with something to back up his claims, but until people can prove that it is BS, it'll just go on and on.
But the finished work says it all. He said he has since fired that employee who messed up my car, but the end results on the two customers that had recently gone to him are still pretty bad.
Oh and it looks like he just surfed the web and stole the pics of AAA, Farmers, Progressive and is hosting them on his photobucket account cause none of what should be links work.
My honey is a web developer and would laugh his ass off at this. I laugh since even I can tell its crap.
Doesn't this dude know to keep his dead down? What a moron..
PS..
Uni-Care is a health insurance company.... Ummm yeah..

Reason: noticed something else..
right, all those manually welded exotics are garbage because they don't use robots.
it's not like the damn frame got twisted from a collision, the rockers got a few holes and dents in them... it's f*cked up to be sure but not something to junk the car over.
..And the people in Angry Panda are well-trained by Nismo to put together a 350Z right?

Owner has 16 years of experience. I wouldn't say trained by Nismo, but that's good enough in my book. I thought Nismo only did R&D, not auto collision repair...
Also, did you not see the body work done to the time attack Eclipse?
Like I said before, I drove the car around before the holes and cuts were welded shut. It drove the way it did when I bought it.

Sorry, I'm not trying to bash on Angry Panda, but rather trying to make a point against his point.
Repainted rear bumper on this Maxima and are currently finishing up a custom front bumper.
Now, this Z...I wish we had progress pictures of it. Involved in a decent speed front end collision. To the naked eye, the damage appeared minimal. Hood damaged, front bumper slightly damaged, that's it...or so the owner thought.
Core support was cracked in pieces, bumper foam was broken in pieces, entire core support was pushed back about 2 inches, hood latch damaged, hood hinges bent, passenger side fender dented and shifted over about an inch...list goes on.
Well, here it is after all the work was done to it.
Lining everything up completely SUCKED. Time consuming, irritating at times, but hey, we got it done.
We finally got our new filter set up and ready to go.
Checking in from ISS and 9gLancers.com
Read through all 81 pages... (Kinda skimmed for updates, but went through all 81). Z is looking good though. Good luck with everything
