I'm talking about the full 12" mattress not a mattress topper. Has anyone tried it? Yes I know tempurpedic is god, and using anything else is a waste of time yada yada yada tempurpedic >>>>> all. sigh....
anywho, I've laid on the tempurpedic as with the comfortpedic and another foam mattress, tempurpedic was around 3500 or so, the comfortpedic I think was 2000-2200, and the other one (forgot the name) was 1500ish Sams Club carries Tempsoma memory foam mattresses. I've been able to touch the pillow products tempsoma offers, they seem very nice and up there with the other high end names. However I've never been able to lay on a tempsoma mattress.
What I'm wondering is if it's at all up to par with some of the other mattresses and on paper it is, however we all know how marketing plays out in making one product far superior to another... cough cough (bose)
Sams Club has a 90 day return policy, I might pick one up and try it out for ghits and siggles.
My parents recently got the Tempsoma mattress from Sam's Club. I go on it all the time-- its amazing lol. IMO, it feels exactly like the Tempurpedic mattresses that I've laid on in Brookstone. That's just my opinion tho...
I've laid on a few and really don't see a 1000 dollar difference in the Tempurpedic VS the lower priced major brand mattress's other then warranty, I believe Tempurpedic is 30 year where the other brands are 20 year and 15 year.
I might have to pick up this mattress and see how it works out, it was either 499 or 599 I can't remember.
I know its hard to get past very heavily marketed stuff like bose... why spend 400 on x brand when you can spend 1000 on the bose stuff? many people follow bose and think that they're god in the A/V world. Tempurpedic somewhat reminds me of that...
I can't speak specifically on the mattress you're talking about but I bought the Costco equivalent (Novaform brand) about a year and a half ago. Queen size for $500. Before that, I went to a couple mattress stores and tried out the tempurpedics. Based on reviews I read online for the mattress I decided to just jump the gun without trying it out since Costco has such a great return policy anyway.
While it isn't as good as a tempurpedic, it is still amazingly better than my previous mattresses. Everyone I've had over who has tried the bed raves about how comfortable it is. BTW mine came in a giant box and took 48-72 hours to fully expand once I laid it out on my platform bed and smelled wierd for about a week.
its all the same stuff no matter the brand the only difference is weight/density, i dont remember how they measure it but as long as you get the right density a cheap one is the same as an expensive one
wow $3500 for a bed.. that's straight baller status right there! I'm still sleeping on my Ikea bed lol
For $3500, the bed better clean my cack dry when I lay on it and jerk off... ahhh good times!
No, 3500 would be for only the mattress, nothing else. The bed we just got cost 800, add in 2 tempurpedic pillows, 100+ and the rest of the deal, you're looking closer at 4500-5000 for a bed.

Holy mother of god! More power to you man for spending that much on a bed.. wish I could do the same.. I'm happy with my $300 Ikea bed
Although I have laid on the temp beds you guys are talking about and I must say.. they are rather comfortable but goddamn.. cost so damn much!

I'm not saying I'm willing to pay that much for a bed, but that's about the going rate for a legit bed. spread that out over 30 years and it doesn't seem as high of a price to pay.
I'd rather get the Sams Club mattress @500 and hopefully be happy, if not, return it.
The older I get the less spending big dollars on weird stuff bothers me, 2500 for flooring on the main floor, 2000 for the fridge, 1200 for a stove, 280 for a sink... yada yada yada, it all adds up but I guess it's apart of life.
besides, 5000 for a bed really isn't that much when looking back on it, I spent like 20K in mods for the Z
Give us some reviews on it if you do pick up the Sams Club mattress. I've got a traditional Serta spring mattress that I've had for over 15 years now and it's starting to get some low spots in it and is going to need a replacement soon.
Linh helping me by showing me her belly.
Pillows are a bit too small, something to replace later...
My take one it? it's hard to say since it's not fully expanded, its a bit soft, pretty much the same feeling as both the tempur and comfort pedic mattresses with the med level rating. Granted we laid on the tempurpedic mattress and the other lower end mattress last weekend, but looking back on it, it's hard to see the difference, we would really need to have them both side by side to notice it.
I'd love to put them side by side to see just how much better the tempurpedic feels, I'd also like to see what both are made out of and where the extra $3000.00 goes for the tempurpedic, guessing it goes to 2 places, 1. marketing, and 2. a 30 year warranty. I bet it cost the same to put it together as this cheap 500 dollar mattress, however this cheaper one only offers a 10 year full warranty.
