If they don't take a bank card I don't do business with them. Checks sounds so 1980's

I heard it's impossible to write in red ink on checks. Something about Chuck Norris and a weasel w/ flip flops.

speaking of writing checks, for some reason, my biggest pet peeve is being next in line at the grocery checkout with an 80 year old women paying in front of me with a check. I cant help but staring at her while she writes what seems like a short novel on her check. Then the cashier will have her put her DL number on it. This takes another 2 minutes. Then of course, she must input her newly writen check into her check ledger pages so she can keep track of what she has spent. Swipe your Fukin debit car and be out before your receipt is even printed!!!!!!!! sorry for the rant

the bank seriously doesn't even care about checks under a few $1000. now if you're trying to pass a check for $15k that is written in crayon, they might get suspicious.

Jokes aside, when referring to a financial instrument both are considered correct and both terms are used in different parts of the world so really either way is fine. Thats what this is all aboot... Now wheres my baaaagal & Poutine eh?

Imagine working at Best Buy and trying to get a long line moving. When most old folks like using checks. And you have to have them fill it out, get their DL, write their DL # on it, pass it thru the machine and hope it reads it otherwise u have to manually key it in and get a manager to approve it. ahhh
