Default Earplugs (sleeping) - recommendations?

Hey guys - Looking for earplugs to go to sleep at night. Just trying to block out "normal" noise. Any recommendations? Not necessarily looking for anything "fancy," but open to any suggestions!

I don't like earplugs, they are not that comfortable and sometimes fall out in the middle of the night.

I use a fan to create some white noise so all the other noises get drowned out. It works great for me. Maybe an alternative?

...the sponge-like ones (soft rubber) work for me. You roll 'em into a cone-shaped form & they stay put all night. I also use them for weapons qualification, every three months.

I used earplugs one time and slept pretty good... didn't hear the alarm clock though.

We use E-A-R foam hearing protection at our facility. I use them at home when the g/f has a snore-fest episode.

A 200 pair count box of the 'Classic Misc' costs $15.34. PM me your addy and I'll send you some to try out.

Proper fit is important with hearing protection. Lots of info on the E-A-R website.

+1.
And they don't cost anything. Just put a handful in your pocket every quarter.
I can't sleep without them. The smallest noise wakes me. I started using them while working midnight shifts because of all the lawnmowers, deliveries, wife cleaning the house, etc.

Thanks for all those who've contributed tips.

I've often wanted to look into this, I'm the lightest sleeper in the world.

Anything from Flents or Macks. I work nights and have a hard time sleeping during the day so i use plugs a LOT.

These are the same ones i use.

They have a 31 nrr ( noise reduction rating) and are super soft.

They block out all the background noises like Kids, Pets, Tvs.. etc etc

You can still hear things you need to hear. Like Alarm Clocks, Fire Alarms, Phone calls ( if the phone is in your room ), and people knocking on your door trying to get your attention if needed.

When you were a baby your mom kept the house quiet as mouse when you were sleeping. This ruined you for life!

Hey guys - thanks for all the contributions. I went to the store last night and bought these Flents ones. It's not the purple ones in the picture though.. just the "regular" foam, white, cylindrical ones. Costs about $7 for 25 pairs. The fit was a lot better than I expected and they also stayed in my ear better than I had expected. Had a good night's sleep and it doesn't muffle out the noise to the point where you can't hear important things (alarm, someone knocking on your door, etc)
