Default Need help with my Nismo!

So this might be stupid to but, I still wanna hear what you're input is. Try not to be so negative lol. So recently someone did a hit and run on my car and backed in to it and the front bumper and cracked in places and pushed in a little bit near the front drivers side reflector. So Instead of just buying a new Nismo v3 bumper because of how expensive they are. Id rather just have someone repair it for me. But in the mean time I was thinking of just buying a aftermarket front bumper and just plasti dipping my car for the winter and fixing the bumper at the same time. What are your thoughts? And if i buy a aftermarket bumper, what one? Im not trying to buy a super expensive since ill be fixing my v3 one.

You should post some pictures -

Is this your daily driver? Might you consider parking your nismo for the winter and picking up a 'beater' vehicle for the winters and while your nismo is down?

If getting a second vehicle is not an option I would figure out how long the nismo bumper will take to get fixed and either run without a front bumper for a week or two or whatever the time is and not waste the time/money on getting a second bumper. All the money you put into the second bumper will be wasted once your nismo gets fixed.

My thoughts? Pay your $500 insurance deductible and the car will be fixed good as new, carry on.

Only have liability? Then you are an idiot and can go figure it out yourself.

Get it fixed with your insurance to make sure it's done right.

I did that but the it took forever and place I went to were straight *******s. So the insurance company came out and looked at it. They gave me money to get it fixed. But if id buy a brand new bumper and have it paint. I think it'd be more then what they gave me. I mean regardless im fixing it. But I have the insurance moeny aside for the time being.

If you plasi dip your nismo you might as well never log into here again bc you will be forever flamed.

Just drive around with no front bumper for the time being and drop your Nismo off to get repaired and painted. It really shouldnt cost that much, im sure paint will cost more than the actual repair.
