Default More dyno results

Hey guys, this is a follow up to the thread that Sharif posted titled Forged Performance: A couple of visitors stopped by...

In addition to the installation of the Stillen exhaust and Berk HFCs, I've now also installed the Stillen G3 Long-tube intakes. I went back to Forged Performance today for another dyno to see what gain they yield. I also went and got a dyno at a shop that runs a DynoJet, because I wanted to compare the numbers with Forged's Dyno Dynamics unit.

I just posted this video clip that summarizes the results.

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Tc1gdLJnpJY&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Tc1gdLJnpJY&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

I'm also attaching the graphs below. From left to right, we start with the dyno graph from Sharif's pulls a couple of weeks ago when I just had the exhaust and HFCs. The second one is with the addition of the G3 intakes. And the third one is the DynoJet results for comparison.

Hope you all find this info helpful!

Default I agree and one question

I agree. Would be interesting to see how these increases proceed with new products down the road. My question: Will these increases cause any additional heat build up or are they helping the motor to breath?

Impressive results. Next time it would be good to get the ambient air temperature for all the comparative tests. Also, was the cooling fan in the same position etc. Nonetheless, very impressive. What values were at the flywheel? I'm just curious as to the drive-train losses.

Thanks for cleaning up the kids mess. Nice gains on bolt-ons. What's next? ECU upgrade? Will that even make a difference?

The gains from this engine from just breathing mods is surreal. Way to go, thanks for getting the hard numbers so the rest of us can plan out our future 370 purchases

TT's are gonna be sick on this car..

sharif's heartbreaker seems to read about 10% less than a dynojet.

Ambient air temp was 73.3 degrees, according to the DynoJet printout (it's cut off from the graphic file).

Next is Stillen underdrive pulley (which just got released to day for the 370). Waiting for UpRev to finish development, then a tune with UpRev. I also plan to install an oil cooler. Then maybe it'll be time to save up for a set of Volk G2s or something.

Maybe true, but A.H., also did that on a automatic car not a 6mt.

and A.H had more boltons and testpipes instead of HFC's in his...

Are you gonna be the gothchick of the HR motor? (gothchick insists that the DE is superior to the HR)...
