Default Osiris Tuning

I did an osiris tune and I had a short ram intake and now I want to swap it out and put a cold air. Will that affect the tune?

You will probably be ok, but I'd contact your tuner and get it tuned again and show us some before and after dyno numbers.

I'd keep the cash, no one has shown a cold air to actually gain power anywhere besides a dyno because of the heat that builds up in the engine compartment. Your money is better spent on other mods, unless you're doing it for looks.

For an 03-05, the only worthwhile intake mod that is PROVEN to get good gains is an 06 OEM intake/airbox. The 06 airbox is much better than the past 03-05 airbox. I had a JWT on my Z, and when I installed the OEM back, I felt a massive difference - got back all my low-end torque, and got smoothness back up top.

Trust me, find a used a 06 OEM airbox and never look back.

I agree, 06 air box and a HR Y-pipe will bring back low end and civility to a early VQ35. Very linear response and very definitely noticeable.
