Default Cobb AP Tuner

Looking into putting together a turbo kit for my 03 350z, Couldn't find a thread or much on the Cobb Accessport tuner. Anyone know any details, pros, cons. All welcome to share your opinion or direct me to a fairly recent thread. Looking at 8psi, stock motor/trans, w/ headers, ported intake top/mid/bottom, 1/2 plenum spacer, borla catback, test pipes, and soon to be dc sport headers. Heard that Cobb AP was a decent program and appears they no longer support it but doesn't hurt to ask. Thanks in advance.

No problems , its been on my car since 2010. Been thinking about changing to UpRev shortly before my fresh NA motor gets installed.

Good to hear. What's your set-up? And ya know if you want to sell it right now i'm ready to buy it =P name your price hehe. Should be getting everything in within the next 3-4 weeks. Minus the tune situation of course.

I'm running it and have since 09. I did contact Cobb and ask what can be done now seeing as they no longer offer maps (or any n/a cars) for the z car. They told me it can be dyno tuned by an authorized Cobb dealer/tuner WITH THE Z CAR SOFTWARE. So if a shop has the software for the z car you are good to go. Now since you do not have an ecu upgrade I would suggest UpRev based on Logistics as a tuner can be found on almost every corner...just my .02

I never had any problems with my Cobb AP on my NA build. Pretty good product. I would imagine that even though Cobb doesn't support the Z platform anymore, you should still be able to contact them to get the tuner software for a custom tune.

Let me know how those headers work out with your turbo build...

I'm actually having Justin Jolliff which used to own (Real Power Motorsports) in FL, now up here in MO, do all of the work. Will definitely post pictures on the process. But yea i've been eyeing your build and all the pics that he's got of your gorgeous Z

Yea, I'm gonna have to find someway that we can do it for 03-06, cause my local guy only has the 07-up :/ Has anyone personally tried the $700 Osiris?

If you have someone that is an Uprev tuner there isn't any real need for the $700 tuner version unless you cannot find a protuner or you want to do it yourself.

The Tuner version gives you full control and is great if you understand tuning but overkill if you don't.

The biggest thing you need is the license and a great tuner. Give us a call for more info on the different options with UpRev.

So I have the 2004.5 roadster manual (which is not on the map list) the 2004.5 runs the MEC35-360 B1 while the auto 2004.5 roadster (which is on the map list) runs the MEC35-350 B1 and the 2004 manaul has a MEC31-640 and I flashed stage 2 and went to uninstall got a fatal error (most likely becayse it is for the 2004.5 auto) does anyone know how I can get a custom or a workable map that I can install and most importantly uninstall? NEED ONE ASAP
