There are plenty of tuned Titans running 13 second quarter miles.....not mine, but it still comes off the line pretty hard.

What I have now is a stock, tuned, 4 door Titan that will beat any stock 350z all the way to about 70mph.
Believe it or not, that vk has a hell of a lot more load pushing against it than a little 3,000lb stripped out mk3 supra.

We're still comparing pistons, piston rings, load an knock. Not identical but whatever.

Stock is not tuned.

I don't care that you can beat a 350z out of the hole. I'd be willing to bet a ninja 300 could beat most 350z drivers out of the hole. I don't have a stock 350z, mine's tuned a bit. Would you like to race it when it works?

I made my point, get over it.
Sometimes manufacturers put out ECU updates for certain vehicles. They flash them, and after that they are still stock......My truck is still stock, for now.

So resmarted got me thinking, and it led me a discovery that I may not have noticed so quickly. I had a friend run the throttle the other day while I listened with my 40 yo ears. My truck wasn't pinging at all, it had a loose secondary cat on the right side. I gutted them both, since they're after the catalyst monitors anyway......problem solved, sounds better too.
Touche my friend, I should've known it wasn't pinging.
