This year was my first time and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Could have done without all the rain for the 2 day drive down though. Met a lot of real great people there too and felt very honoured and fortunate to be directed to the front row for the group photoshoot.
I was really looking forward to 09 but it seems that organizers from the different Z venues didn't get their dates deconflicted.
Now a lot of Z owners may have to make a choice between ZDayZ or BZF, unfortunately.
I really like to return to The Tail of The Dragon but I've never been to BZF and would like to experience that one at least once.
Decisions, decisions, decisions.
BZF - 29-31 May 09
ZDayZ - 28-31 May 09
Z Nationals - 25-26 Sep 09
ZCon - 28 Sep - 02 Oct 09
I would like to appologize for the conflict with BZF. This is our fault, but not entirely. For five years we were able to go year to year on the contract for Fontana Village. NOw we have to go two years out. The AKC took our normal weekend in 2009. The upside is that BZF has a different weekend for 2010, I think we will stay with the weekend late in May, there are so many people that it works better for, we have lots of attendees with kids that either have to make arrangements for them or not come, since technically they are still in school.
again I appologize to you and everyone that has that conflict between ZdayZ and BZF. I would interject my bias as to which event to attend but that would be ruse and shallow I've never been to BZF; however, I have been to a mid-west Z Fest, good people.
Can't wait for this I went last year but emo'd out when my car took a sh*t on the way to the Dragon, so I never got to experience it behind the wheel I did go for a ride which was fun (thanks Drea!). Hopefully this time my car won't FAIL haha (it shouldn't, knock on wood)

Is there a hotel nearby that I can book a room at...or... how does this work? lol
can't wait
Sorry, I've been attending for so long I just assumed everyone knew where it was. go to http://www.fontanavillage.com/ and make your reservations. Be sure and tell them you are with ZdayZ, they have rooms/cabins reserved for us and there is a discount rate too.
www.zdayz.com v1.1 is up, please check it out and provide feedback good or bad, please.
Looks good! We hope to have our 350Z, S2000, and SC430 there. It is cool to bring our other cars for display right? With Slammin' and Jammin' in Lebanon, TN being the weekend before it might be a tough squeeze/sell to the other guys, but I'll try to sell them on it.
BTW, the red background F's with your eyes when you go back to a different site.
