GEEZ! That's crazy for a single turbo kit?? care to explain why so much? Seen how their reputation is with the Honda/Acura market id stay away from those kits... For that price I would choose Greddy TT more coplete IMO.. What does turbonetics use for Engine Managemnet a reflash?

I dont know about this one..?

First of all the price is based on our cvost and their list price.

List on the TT kit is over 7k. The list on this kit is 5.5k. The dyno charts we have seen have the car at about 380 RWHP. After we install one will do have out dyno assessments. You also have to concider install costs. The single turbo kit is only an 8 hour install. That alone saves around $500.00 in labor.

Here is the specs on the kit:

Turbo: Turbonetics 60-1 Ball Bearing turbo

Intercooler: Spearco large WAVE Technology core with cast end tanks

Fuel Management: Turbonetics tuned upgraded ECU with larger injectors

Air Filter: Turbonetics AF-1

Wastegate: Turbonetics Evolution

Blow Off Valve: Turbonetics Raptor with polished discharge horn

Intercooler Piping: Black chrome mandrel bent aluminum

Exhaust pipes: Polished mandrel bent stainless steel with v-band connection between all the pipes.

Down Pipe: 3" polished mandrel bent stainless

Install: 8 hours

Time will tell, but out of the box: more HP / Less money.

regards

I can e-mail the dyno sheets. This is a product we are starting to carry. We also carry all the other FI kits as well and now have installed over 60 kits of various types. Time will tell after we install a kit.

As a side note: - This is a Vendor sale section, not a debate section. You can start on thread on the FI section for a debate on this kit. Send me an e-mail and I will send you the dyno chart we have.

You sir are crazy. You think just cause it uses one snail it should cost half of what the Greddy and APS kits cost??? Also, I don't remember Turbonetics having any bad reputation with the Honda/Acura market, so show me some proof of that.

Hey hey, these are just questions that were asked at SEMA... That really was discouraging..

I.E.

You HAVE TO RUN single exhaust only?

You can't up the boost because its a reflash, your set whatever it comes out of the box (this sucks!)

still key parts that i consider somehow important, and correct me if im wrong but it doesn't come with an oil pan does it? Unlike greddy, or PE that come with a nice aftermarket one (with the exception of Greddy's first kit that came with an altered stock one) that would mean time to tap into my oil pan, make holes, weld, etc... etc..

As far as HONDA/ACURA GO to www.honda-tech.com those guys are HARD CORE most of those guys would rather use Garret over Turbonetics...

I hope I dont need to bring up TONS OF THREAD to prove it? I had a Honda and was amongst this crowd just like I am a member here on this forum I am a member there too.. and see what products are good and bad.. Im sure they have had succesfull results, or they wouldn't be in business? But their ratio is about 50-50, Like I said... Im just waiting to see whats going to happen. I'll just sit back and save this thread for future references

OK dude whatever. Yes you can up the boost you could get an emanage or call Technosquare and get it reflashed. It utilizes an external wastegate so boost can be upped easily with a decent boost controller. Secondly the Vortech also doesn't come with an oil pan but people who bought that kit seem to do alright. The price of this kit is low enough that if you wanted to get one you could and it would still be cheaper than the Greddy ,PE, or APS kits. Also maybe in the Honda world Garret is the bomb but I assume you never owned a B-anything Sentra or Altima. Cause Turbonetics/F-Max makes all kinds of bad@ss kits for them. I know I used to have one. Hey if you don't like dont buy it. I'm not going to argue with you over it.

BTW if I recall Lisa Kubo and a few other pro-FWD racers used Turbonetics turbos on their cars. Oh yeah Lisa Kubo raced a FWD Civic hatch didn't she. Yes she switched to Saturn but she made her name in a Honda drag car with TURBONETICS turbos.

PS: She happens to be the first FWD Drag car in the 7s too.

LOL Chill out dude, your going to pop a VAIN!! Damn, don't take it personal bro. I don't care if LISA KUBO ran 5seconds, her CAR IS A RACE CAR DUDE!!! That turbo gets turned on, and it runs 10seconds or whatever, gets shut off and thats it!! The chances of turbo failure on a daily driver/weekend track car take more abuse than a car that only runs and probably gets rebuilt almost EVERY RACE! So don't compare apples to oranges, now your saying "you can up the boost just get an E-manage" DUDE, now Our selling price will be - $4995.00 anymore it starts increasing in price when the Greddy kit has the E-manage out of the box.. YOUR SAYING ITS MORE CHEAP GOING TURBONETICS??? Most Greddy TT's are selling for almost 5K with intercooler, shoot I can get one for $5,200 only $200.00 more with 1 MORE TURBOCHARGER E-manage, NICE complete kit and If I want to run more boost like my buddy here on the boards gq_626 who is running 8psi making 416whp and 399trq.

Again just because a RACER gets very low times doesn't mean their products are THE BEST! A prime good example is VENOM! Their cars were FAST AS HELL! Hell, they were the first team to pilot to the 6's. Were are they now? And I did own a B- car...

Wow since you obviously can't read I said a B-Anything SENTRA or an ALTIMA. I don't really give a sh!t about Hondas and never have. Likewise I'm sure you could care less about Sentras ALtimas or Turbonetics. The point is that on several B13, B14 Sentras and Altimas MANY people are running kits with Turbonetics turbos with the same success as the Garret systems for Hondas. In the end it all depends on what you want. I personally am not a fan of the TT kits for the 350Z. Are they nice yes. Are they what I want...no. I prefer the powerband of this kit and I also prefer the fact that it takes literally 1/4 the time to install this as compared to any of the TT kits. Furthermore the price is right in line with just about every Centrfig. SC kit there is and is significantly less than the only two TT kits I would consider the APS or the PE. Like I said before if you dont want it, don't buy it. No need to come onto a Vendors thread about it talking down about the system just becuase its not your cup of tea.

Dude, im voicing my opinion on what I have seen. Just like if you dont like a product, your going to speak up. Like I initially posted WHY SO MUCH? Im dying to see what results this kit will have 6 months from now. Hey maybe the 350z kit they made it perfect, we will see? Avalon racing is a great seller, he has been here since the begining of time. My comments were just be careful, do your research before you buy. And again I did own a B car... B16 motor And, YOU don't need to tell me what I can or cannot buy.. I already know what I want. Anyhow get back on topic...

Wow dude...you are something...I'm sorry but when I said a B-anything SENTRA I figured you would understand that the chasis code for every SENTRA is BXX as in B12, B13, B14, B15...since you obviously understand that a B16 is an engine code not a chasis code I thought you would grasp that concept. Whatever dude. To each his own. Buy whatever you want I really could give 2 sh!ts about you. I don't think the price is off for this but that just MY opinion.

Well, as you know, MIAPLAYA is going to buy this kit so his experience will tell us much more than comparing what a kit of theirs did on another brand like a Honda.

Good to have all information so thanks Wicked4u2c for posting honda thread but just beware, only the guys that have problems tend to post or at least post more often.

From a 3rd person standpoint, it is nice to see you guys debate since you have a difference in opinion but just dont take anything personal. Everyones opinions differ based on their perspective and experiences. We are here to help each other and share experiences not get angry.
