My rear half is stripped but it is still liveable. Under 4k RPM/50 throttle its pretty mild....just went you go WOT it screams.
The most gains came from the catless Y-pipe but the stock cat back is 2.25 inch and the stock GT-R catback is 2.7 inch so I'm sure I gained maybe 5-10whp off the catback, maybe lol
I wish the gopro picked up the high RPM rev match downshifts better....those are freaking nuts
It is loud lol
thank you

what the weight comparison between the GTR + your custom pipes/resonator vs stock canister?
you lose the rear 'diffuser' effect with the stock canister... and i thought this was going to be your track car, so i was thinking you would go single exhaust to save weight...
but interesting sound nonetheless.

Without the resonator the GT-R catback is 12lbs lighter than the OEM catback. I'd love to do an Amuse Ti single or something but the entire "build" was done on a very tight budget.
We removed the canister so the exhaust would fit better/tighter. I have a CEL now though.

I would assume the stock R35 GT-R quad tips would look pretty bad.
Like the video intro says, I have turndown exhuast tips under the vehicle in hope of the sound would disapate before hitting the sound meter at my local track(they have a 98db limit)

I'm gonna ask a stupid question: in the pic you posted above (post #27), what's the deal with the small filter peaking out above the bend in the pipe going to the rear muffler, on the passenger side? Is that part of the exhaust? Doesn't look OEM.
I feel dumb for asking haha

It's a good question! It use to go to the emission box..forgot the technical name for it, also known as the charcoal box. He added the filter so that the function is still the same, howeve he still got a check engine light...
I'll post threads to a DIY later
