Not bad for a bone stock family car?

My first time with this car so my driving is pretty conservative.

It's like a 350Z that's about few hundred KG's heavier. Takes more distance to brake and has less grip. Less nimble. Still fun to drive though because car's the balance is still great and very predictable. Steering is a bit on the soft side to feel anything what's going on.

VQ37HR is better than the OEM DE that's for sure. It picks up really nice out of corners.

AT Trans ftl. I keep looking at the dash to see if it actually down-shifted. Because other than I can't hear ****, the AT trans sometimes takes time to downshift.

thats weird, i thought the G37 have the 7 speed auto!! so it should shift allot!! after each corner i suppose..

Your driving is much better than the cars front of you. you enter/exit turns better than them.

in high speed the DE Dies but the HR/VHR still alive, this is the difference i felt from moving to an Auto 06 350z to HR 350.

i am going to Dubai in November, any event or something will be in Autodrome ? i really want to drive in this track.

Well I was using manual mode so I could keep my RPM up and get some power down on exit. There were some delay when down shifting. Wasn't that bad though.

DE is decent at high speeds. Put some bigger cams and watch it rev lol. Just for reference, check this out: Using the same track here's the top speed comparison, based on what I observed.

My buddy's S2k AP1, intake / full cat-back : 180 kph
My 350Z VQ35DE, intake / axleback : 200 kph
2013 G37 Sedan, stock : 210 kph

My car hasn't visited this track ever since I started the project 2 yrs ago lol. Hopefully after she's fixed she will return to that track once again.

Here is the Dubai Autodrome calendar for November:
