Default 2007 Intake Manifold??? Whats up?

Well i took my car down to a friends shop and was getting it dynoed. When i pulled the cover off the engine i noticed that the manifold was....plastic? I wasn't expecting this? Now my question is how screwed are us 07 guys when it comes to a spacer and or mrev2 mod? After inspecting it more, i realized that it appears that the whole thing is plastic not just the upper plenum. What to do....what to do......

#1. Read this silly noobie http://www.my350z.com/forum/showpost...&postcount=101
#2. We don't need a spacer or mrev or anything. The HR doesn't share this flaw in the manifold design with the DE.

In many cases, "plastic" is better...it weighs less, costs less, easier to make difficult geometries, better heat resistance (similar to phenolic materials), and can have the same strenghts...usually the only downside is that it can't withstand higher temps.
