If a company made an exhaust system just for the 03-06, then it will fit the 07's. If a company made an exhaust system just for the 07's, then it will fit the 03-06's.

Better Exhaust? Really nothing has to do with better exhaust, but more with the diameter of the piping. I would say 2.36" - 2.75" piping would be efficient. I'm looking at the Greddy EvoTT as of right now.
