Default People with stock air boxes please read...

On my drive to work today I noticed that my car was lacking on power big time. Now this wont be directed to all of you but for most of the people in SoCal we had some pretty intense wind over the weekend and even today so there are leaves everywhere. When I got to work I decided to pop open my air boxes and see if there was anything there. To my surprise my boxes were over flowing with leaves. I guess the ram air design works pretty good and I sucked up everything in my path to work. I just wanted to put this out as a warning to all you so you dont take a chance on ruining your motor. Check your air boxes anyways! It only takes a minute and it could do a lot of good!

I've opened mine a few times to find a bunch of leaves, and a dead bee!

Im actually running the "Z" tube that picks up air from behind the grille. I'm always finding something new in there. My favorite is when I get the cig. butts wedged between the filter folds

If it wasn't so easy to pop the filter out it would probably up set me, but I just lift it out and give a couple taps, then good to go. But the stock box is pretty efficiant.

About every 2 weeks I pull the filters and clean the box and filters out.
Amazing the stuff that gets sucked up in there.
The wind over here sure doesn't help!

Maybe one of the manufacturers could modify their Radiator covers to include mesh material on the sides for the '07s/G37.

This would be worth while to keep debris from accumulating inside the intake silencers.

I almost had part of a coyote stuck in mine today. The stupid thing stopped in the middle of the road. I ended up having to give it a little love tap to move and then it just took off. I dont think it could hear my horn or see my car. It really must have been retarted...
