Default Dyno 07 Stock

Picture of the dyno sheet (max power 261.3) was taken with my camera and pictures of all cars taken on friends camera phone. It was pretty hot out there today but i'm not sure what the temperature was exactly. The dyno guys were too lazy to hook up the connections to get torque reading, i had my engine cover and everything on. I don't even think they did the dyno properly. The dyno sheet shows the best of three pulls. I think they did it in 4th gear , is that even right?

$35 + $3 for using debit card

Maybe it was a waste of money but i'll surely get a better dyno done in a couple of weeks from another shop. Maybe someone in ft lauderdale/florida can recommend one?

It was my very first time doing a dyno so I had no clue as to what they are supposed to do but I will not make the same mistake twice. I think i got ripped off.

well, the usual 07 whp ive seen is anwehre between 265-270 whp. Youre not too far off. Maybe it should have been done in a different gear. Doesnt look too abnormal to me.

Looks to be a Veilside Fortune-kitted NSX.

OP, if they were "too lazy" to do the dyno correctly, you shoulda been "too lazy" to reach in your pocket to grab your wallet.

If they would have pulled in 5th gear, your engine would have never made it to redline. In the 07 7500 RPM at 5th gear exceeds the car's top speed governor. Not sure how high it would actually go in 5th... maybe 7100 (correct me if I'm wrong).

I dynoed in 4th and 5th gear. I believe you reach your highest hp and tq reading before the governor kicks in. So you might have gained a little in 5th as when they ran mine in 4th I was down by two hp and like 5 tq. I would not have payed them though if they didn't dyno my car correctly or at least payed them much less.

bboypuertoroc you are correct about the NSX.

I didnt know they were gonna be too lazy to do it correctly otherwise ofcourse I would not have paid. They took payment before the dyno was done.

They were having a dyno day out there but at the time not many cars were lined up to do dyno, so they should have taken the time to remove the parts from my car to connect what they needed to connect. They didnt even turn the big fan on infront of my car and they also didnt keep my hood open when doing the dyno.

What also sucks is that right after my dyno they lowered the price to $25 for 3 pulls!

I wanted to mention that there was an S2000 there that dynoed 500 whp! Just fyi.

Did they even open your hood to begin with? Because from the way it sounds it doesn't even seem like they attempted to get a good signal (reason why your dyno is in MPH and not RPM). I would be PISSED. They didn't even turn the fan on? WTF.

BTW, 4th gear should be your 1:1 gear, so it's the gear you should use to dyno.
