Is this normal?

i got 07 enthusiast n when my car is in neutral n i rev up the engine n rpm goes up smoothly but when it goes down it kinda STOP btw 1000-2000 rpm.. it doesnt go down smoothly.. is this normal?

Its just trying to keep itself from stalling, its normal. The RPMs should then slowly drop back to idle if your foot isn't on the go pedal.

it should stall at ~ 1,500 rpm for a quick moment and then return to idle. it's completely normal.

Between 1.5 - 2k cold, and 700 warm.
