Default Need advise for my 07

My ride 350z 07 VQ35HR

Modify

-HKS TWIN POWER
- Intake FUJITA
- SLD Speed Limit cut off HKS
- Cat back Amuse R1 Titan
- Modify Y-pipe 2.3"
- no catalytic

Test on dyno

- 279 HP Torque 314Nm

The question that I want to know

1. Some of my friend told me put the stock cat in is better than cut off? they said cut off is make slower in first gear and will good is the fifth gear

2. He also told me that Intake fujita is not necessary for VQ35HR. Use stock intake is better. stock intake is make 1-2 gear better than Intake fujita?

3. I plan to modify more put Oil cooler, Regulator, Oil pump modify is will we effictive or not?

4. I want to know how to modify NA engine for best achive. Not change high degree camshaft, piston and anything inside block engine.

5. I want to know the Max speed and also quater mile of HR engine

6. Now have header for HR release yet? now i'm plan to put it

7. which ECU is the best for HR?

-stand alone Ecu MOTEC,HALTEC, F CON Vpro
- all tune up by AMUSE,NISMO,MINE'S

PS My country use 95 Gasoline and hot tempresure around 38 c'

Finally, thanks for any advising and i'm really sorry for my english skill coz i'm an asian people and not use an english language in often

The question that I want to know

1. Some of my friend told me put the stock cat in is better than cut off? YES! PUT BACK THE STOCK CAT. THE HR STOCK CAT FLOWS VERY EFFICIENTLY ALREADY.
they said cut off is make slower in first gear and will good is the fifth gear

2. He also told me that Intake fujita is not necessary for VQ35HR. Use stock intake is better. stock intake is make 1-2 gear better than Intake fujita? YES! IN THE REFLASH THREAD IT IS ALREADY PROVEN THE FUJITA INTAKE WILL LOOSE POWER IN THE HR MOTOR. STOCK INTAKE WILL YIELD MORE TORQUE THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE RPM RANGE.

3. I plan to modify more put Oil cooler, Regulator, Oil pump modify is will we effictive or not? OIL COOLER IS RECOMMENDED ESPECIALLY IN THAILAND. YOU GUYS ONLY GET 3 SEASONS. HOT, HOTTER AND HOTTEST. SAVE $$$ ON THE REST.

4. I want to know how to modify NA engine for best achive. Not change high degree camshaft, piston and anything inside block engine. DO A REFLASH(SEE THE 07 REFLASH COMPLETED THREAD) CHANGE THE RING & PINION. DEPENDS WHAT YOU DO. DRAG RACE OR ROAD COURSE TRACK RACING. EITHER TYPE A TALLER R&P WILL HELP. YOU WILL LOOSE SOME TOP SPEED. RPM WILL ALSO RISE APPROX 300RPM WHEN CRUISING.

5. I want to know the Max speed and also quater mile of HR engine SORRY! I CANNOT HELP. I DON'T DO DRAG RACING. I ONLY DO ROAD COURSE TRACK RACING.

6. Now have header for HR release yet? now i'm plan to put it. STOP! THE STOCK HEADER IS ALREADY EQUAL LENGTH. NO NEED TO TOUCH THAT PART.

7. which ECU is the best for HR? SEE THE 07 REFLASH COMPLETED THREAD

-stand alone Ecu MOTEC,HALTEC, F CON Vpro
- all tune up by AMUSE,NISMO,MINE'S

PS My country use 95 Gasoline and hot tempresure around 38 c'

As I have been saying, throwing in parts after parts on the HR will probably loose power instead of gaining any power. You can read this thread. http://www.my350z.com/forum/showthre...320191&page=13

I dynoed 296whp with just a Nismo y-pipe and everything else is stock. There is another guy that has the same result without all the parts. Now you have so many parts in but only achieve 276whp which shows throwing in mix and match parts will not help the HR. It will only hurt the HR throughput. If I were you I would wait for their mail in ECU reflash and return your car back to stock to get the max hp.

Please see my answer in caps above.

BTW I will be in Bangkok this saturday March 22 visiting.

How are stock cats better than test pipes? The only thing stock cats are better at are protecting the environment from pollutants. Horsepower wise there is no way in hell stock cats flow better than test pipes or HFC. This has been proven numerous times and no body has dynoed less with Test pipes or HFCs on..

only thing that hurts hp is intakes. everything else in the exhaust system is restrictive and will gain hp if changed.

Thanks for all advise

i just took out the FUJITA Intake pipe. and replace the stock intake it good smooth more FUJITA.

I go to garage and talk with engineer modifying car he said that FUJITA intake it does't mean not good product but my car don't have ECU to tuned up. So in this time i'm should use Stock Intake it would be good than FUJITA.

He said Air and FUEL it doesn't match now. put ecu first and tuned up and put FUJITA LATER.
