I was under the impression that the HR had twin throttle bodies... Is this not correct?

std HR's do have twin throttle bodies, but the RS-C is a race car, with an extensively modified engine; it's nowhere near a std HR

I figured as much... But from kwame's comment it seemed like he thought the HR did not.

The normal VQ35hr in the 07+ Z are 3.5 liter motors with twin throttle bodies.
The motor in the 380rs-C is a 3.8 liter with six individual throttle bodies.

This is what Nissan needs to be running in the ALMS in the US.

not for nothing, but an 08 911 cup car is significantly more expensive than $285k

that's a used car though....used race cars, especially ones without any historic significance (such as a cup car), hold no value relative to their cost new or cost to build
If you want to compare apples to apples, and '08 GT3 Cup goes for around $390k at today's exchange rate

me calls the GT3 without traction control, the "widow maker". That is some serious ish to drive aggressively. I didn't even want to ask for a test drive when I was at the Porsche Exchange, lol
