Default 03 Valve Body same as 2007 ????

I've been thinking about upgrading the valve body on my 07 350z ..

I was going to just get the kit from forged performance (transgo) and install it myself

BUT .. I found a guy on craigslist that has a Stillen Valve Body off his 2003 350z that he took off when he sold the car .. says he ran it for two months on the car and wants $300 for it

first question .. Would it fit my 07 A/T tranny (the transgo valve body instructions say something about two types of valve body's on the Z's .. are they interchangable?)

and second .. ive read things about the stillen valve body not being as good as the transgo (forged or GTM sell them) VB upgrade ..

I think the Stillen was only made for the 03-05 model years.

Actually, you send your OEM valve body into Stillen and they upgrade it and send it back to you. I think that's how it works.

the stillen valve body upgrade works like that .. the guy has a extra valve body he got upgraded and used before selling the car

as for GTM or Forged Performance valve body upgrades .. you can either send your valve body to them and pay upwards of $800 or pay $295 for the kit and install it yourself ..

ive installed "shift kits" aka "valve body upgrades" before .. it just involves dropping the valve body from the transmission .. changing out the springs to stiffer ones and drilling some holes out in the seperator plate

hard if you've never worked on cars .. but it isnt rocket science
