Honestly 20% is not good at all. Even with small turbine housings and high boost Bushur's test came back with a 6 degree peak using the garret 3.8" cores with ambient temps in the higher double digit range FYI. I generally show similar numbers on hard pulls as well.

That is a pretty vague assumption. For instance a big ebay intercooler is going to have issues in a cross-flow or vertical flow configuration, really doesn't matter. Ebay cores are generally of very bad quality when it comes to cooling abilities. Intercoolers of equal quality and size, generally in my experience the cross-flow wins every time for the applications we use them for.

I do agree you have a great quality kit. Certainly best kit on the market for the money IMO for the 350zs. I understand the vertical flow works for you, and not dissuading you at all..... just my testing and my applications the cross-flows work better for me. My opinion for what its worth.

I can only take on a local car as a donor. I need to check how this perform and if there are issues before it goes in production. This is only possible with a local car.

Ok, are you able to put DE flanges on to run on DE exhaust manifolds? I still want the kit regardless. This thing is amazing.

Sasha, on Lucas's behalf. I understand you need a local to drive it around after you make the kit to keep a eye on it incase of any problems. If he shipped it to you, would you be ok with install the kit and driving the Z around yourself? He's willing to let you do whatever you need to do to make this happen. If not, he understands. He just wanted to know if you can make the Y-pipe for the HR kit with DE flanges on it being that he using the Z1 DE headers? He will fabricate the rest of the kit to work for his Nismo.

Small concern to have for the HR folks finally getting another turbo option aside from the more expensive TT kits on the market.

Just look back to the rear-mount turbo's for the DE, there was similar concerns that never resulted in real world issues that I recall; granted don't drive your car into a mini-pond. I would avoid 3"+ big puddles though to be safe. But I'd avoid driving in rain in general.

I have driven in plenty of nasty rain, and have never had an issue. Avoid deep water and you are good.

Probably something along these lines....same as the VHR kit:

Complete twin scroll kit: $7,300 + paypal fee

Tuner kit: $6,190 + paypal fee (includes everything listed except fuel pump, injectors, fuel relay kit and UpRev)

-Precision 6266 750hp twin scroll turbo, T4 1.15 a/r turbine housing
-Large vertical flow intercooler (25”x9”x3.5” core)
-750cc Bosch EV14 fuel injectors with plug’n play pig tails
-340lph fuel pump (support up to 650whp)
-Fuel pump voltage booster (only standard with this kit)
-Exa 12V turbo scavenge pump with inlet strainer (pug'n play)
-Tial Q BOV
-Tial MV-S waste gates
-UpRev tuner with base map (locked)
-NEW upgraded 3" charge pipes
-3” 304 stainless down pipe (built to work with the F.I dual 2.5” exhaust system)
-Tig welded aluminum intercooler piping
-30 row oil cooler kit with Mocal thermostat
-Stainless braid oil cooler lines (-8an)
-Stainless turbo oil return lines -8an
-JWT oil pan spacer (+1qt oil capacity)
-GTR spark plugs (gapped)
-Air filter
-Stainless T-bolt clamps
-Silcione hoses
-Plug'n play scavenge pump harness
-304 stainless steel tig welded exhaust manifold (Heavy duty 11 gauge pipe)
-304 stainless brackets and hardware
-Drill/tapp/barb for manifold vacuum/boost source
-OEM oil filter
-Crack case breather filters
-Vaccum hose for wastegates and BOV
-RTV, Teflon tape
-All hardware needed for a coplete install
-Detailed installation manual

62mm turbo Ball bearing option: + $550
67mm 935HP turbo option (JB): + $300
67mm 935HP turbo option (BB): + $1,000
Upgrade to 1,150cc injectors: $250

Please note that his includes a complete 30 row oil cooler kit with a MOCAL thermostatic sandwich plate, 750cc injectors, and a 340lph fuel pump.

Without the oil cooler and with 550cc injectors this would be right around the $7,500 mark right to your door.

Not too bad for a kit that does this on Ethanol:

Yea my avoid driving in rain in general was actually meant to be from the aspect of that it's a bit dangerous in a higher HP Z as the car will break traction constantly and put you in potentially oh crap situations if you try to play around.

I am starting to take deposits on this kit . Should be a simple build, the VHR kit will for the most part bolt right on, and I have these in stock already. Will just need to get a couple of different IC pipes build to go around the front sway bar, other than that these will be ready to go soon.

If you are interested PM for pre-order instructions.
