This definitely looks like something that could be DIY'ed.

Guys I called z1 about gaskets and they said I won't need any. But my mechanic says I will. I cant seem to find throttle body gaskets for the hr. I found the plenum gasket on their website tho.

Just spoke with Z1, this mod will is NOT a tune ONLY required mod. You can run it like any other bolt on, gains will be made, but obviously you want to tune for MAX potential

yea its just a bolt on mod. You will get gains but to get max benefit you will need a tune.

Just got back from my mechanic guys it took him and his guys around 25 mins to put it on. Immediately after removing the stock plenum they compared it and was like" damn, thats definitely bigger" they all seem to think it was a good port job.

Getting a tune next saturday and I will report back with the results. Both on pros tuning mustang dyno and my local dyno jet that I did my baseline last year. If it works out well I might get z1's lower ported plenum also.

In my opinion it works well. Mechanic was impressed with porting job. I got a retune after and went from 270 to 295 on a mustang dyno. The majority of those gains might be from the retune but the only part that was added was the ported plenum. Am guess maybe 10 whp from the port job. I already contacted z1 about getting the lower plenum from them also. I just bought diff mounts and some other stuff so in january or so i will purchase it from them. PreviouslyI was at 301 whp on dyno just before tune.

Good mod list man, I would ditch that stillen y pipe though. I've seen it lose power on about 6 diff set ups...../ gains when switched out to HR Y or xyz
